>What is this?
Full Bokko Heroes X (フルボッコヒーローズX) is a mobile gacha game along the lines of Granblue Fantasy and Wander Crown. The game has Gacha elements like a roll system, units, and RPG stats and upgrades. The gameplay is actually a bullet hell type top-down shooter, with different units having different shot types and abilities.

The game has tons of kemono units and art done by Rikose, even the official twitter page embraces the kemono units in the game and often posts fan art.
>How do I play?
The game can be downloaded from either the IOS app store or the Android app store and following the links on this page will take you to it http://official.fullbokko.drecom.jp/ . It is of course free. There is no english release nor fan patch, so you may have to make a JP account to download it, but you can switch back to you regular account to play. Those of us not versed in moonrunes can download the google translate app, which will let you take screenshots and have them translated. The game is however pretty straight forward, so you can get by without it.
So let's have some fun, add people, discuss the game, post fanart etc.

Most are exclusive to the gacha, but there events for certain units that give out medallions with their symbol on it. I've yet to learn how to use them, but I think they guarantee you a roll that is that unit, so because the kemono units are their own class, you can get medallions for them.

For those new to the game 6 Star units have bonus passive based on their element
Fire - Critical chance
Water - Projectile slowing shield around the character
Nature - Slows the time of action the enemy will perform (not sure though)
Light - Tap an area to create a zone where enemies in that zone take more damage
Dark - Creates a deflecting shield when not holding the screen.
Please correct me or post more tips for those having trouble playing the game.

You still need either a another copy of that Hero or one of those rainbow skill scrolls (Not sure what the name translates to but it's No. 1102) to get a skill-up. Fusing that with the pink bells will increase the chances.
They're some diminishing returns as the skill level increases to get another skill-up as well. S.Lvls 2-4 aren't too bad, but everything past it starts taking 4 gardeners to even get like a 60% chance >.>

I got it him from the first mission set. He's cool, he starts out as a neutral character, but can change between grass, fire, and dark when you fight him and when you get him. Although he needs a medal to change him when he's your character, you get it from the second mission after playing six times. Also he's only a five star, does anyone know if he can become six star?

It's listed at 255-330 on their website, although I haven't quite made it that far in this event to check yet. That's the area where you need at least 1 of the reeeeaaaally powerful active skills or a balanced 6/5 star team to get through.
You could probably get away with a complementing 5 star team at level, but it would be an uphill battle (Without OP active skills). Even spending a few fruit for a 6 start would be worth it if you're close.

My team can barely deal damage on Anubis so I mostly rely on character that had a damage multiplyer on the 6th slot, also Dark ver. of Anubis' active skill is just faster firing and stops enemies from moving I don't know about the other elements.

Unfortunately yes, stars are a for the most part an indication of power but this game has had some major power creep throughout it's life-cycle. Comparing Fenrir (no. 282) to Farinish (no. 2535) for example, their stats are about the same, but Farinish has a better leader skill (+2 utility options) and a much more damaging active skill. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, especially if you're able to snag one of these newer heroes!
As far as your team goes, you might want to reorganize a bit to maximize the effectiveness of you leader skill (And your chosen partners leader skill). To make use of Jevordan you might want to switch out your party to be only Water/Wood units. Evolving her changes her L.Skill to include Kemono units as well, so you could effectively use whichever Anubis then. Lower star units with a double leader skill boost will almost always work out better than higher units with no boost. Good Luck!

At least if you have a decent leaders (friend or otherwise) you can probably cheese the first quest.
Fire ring chan can be taken out pretty easy with a water wave boosting team and some decent active skills. They all seem to have retaliation on their first and last bars with skill draining attacks in the middle, so it sucks unless you can burst damage down those bars. Mono-color seems to be the way to go in general.
Or just tanking the damage. Apep gave me some trouble with my terribad wood team, but none of her attacks hit very hard. If you can heal up from a final / push attack you should be good (Bastet is good for this). It'll just be a battle of attrition at that point.

Was a bit confused when I started out too, so here's few heads up for people that want to play this game but don't know enough japanese, never played a gacha game before, or don't know how to download it.
Easiest way to install this on Android and bypass region restriction is to download and install QooApp from its website, then search for the game (just copy paste: フルボッコ) and install it. You can also use QooApp to manually update the game when needed.
You'll be given a starter team, but you can get more units by accessing the gacha screen. The types of gacha available are:
- Friend Gacha: gives weak units, but it's free and gradually recharges over time. (First option gives 10 weak units, second gives fusion/evolution materials)
- Rare Gacha: can get the strongest units with this, but you'll have to spend bokko (rainbow fruits). Don't spend those for now.
- Ticket gacha: exchange reward tickets for random units.
You'll also want to sell any unwanted high-star units obtained from gacha in order to obtain crystals: they can be spent in the gacha shop to buy units and other goodies. Rings can also be exchanged; these can be obtained as reward for main and special quests.
Use the highest star units you have for now. A unit with more stars have better stats, skills and an higher maximum level. 6* are the strongest.
Next you'll want to make a full team made of hot kemono girls/dudes (only do this when you can afford to make a party with good element variety and full of 4* units, at the very least). The first unit of your party is the leader, so pick a good one: every character has a leader skill which increase stats for every unit with a specific class/element. Making friends is useful since you can pick team leaders from other players and use them, too. Before starting a mission, you'll see two gauges under each of your units' icons: if both those orange/green gauges are on, said unit(s) will receive buffs from your team leader and your friend's, respectively.
Ways to power up your units:
- Fusing: fuse with other units to gain exp and level up. Metal haniwas (#354) gives a lot of exp (Sell the golden haniwas instead, for a lot of money)
- Evolve: Raises rank of your unit, with a subsequent increase in stats/skills/max level). Units must be at maximum level before evolving. Also note that not every unit can be evolved into a 6*: most 6* are available only when evolving units found already at 5*.
- Weapons: boost stat(s) of equipped unit, some weapons also change the projectile type. However, weapons may also increase the party cost of the unit, are destroyed when unequipped, and it's generally hard to find good ones compatible with your class/element.
- Status upgrade: your units will gain status points as they partecipate in battles. Those can be spent in the status screen of your unit to slightly increase any of the 3 stats (HP, attack, defense).
- Skill level: can be raised by fusing your unit with a scroll (#1152) and pink haniwas (#607, 608) together. There may be a chance for failing, but the game gives you the success% before confirming the fusion. Each SLv decreases the cost of active skill by 1, maximum SLv is 10.
- Limit break: mostly available for 6* only. Increases max level and also power up the leader/active skill (or even add extra effects to it). The yellow key icon in the status screen shows the requirements for LBing. You'll usually need the same/lower rank unit or, more easier to get, a jewel of a specific element. You can get this by evolving a broken jewel (daily login reward, special events, shop) using smaller ones (#2235, special events or shop).
- Red book (#2711): can be used to further increase maximum level; each unit can receive a max of 3 books. This is the rarest item, available through very few special events, so use it only on a meta unit (or on your waifu/husbando).
Correct power up procedure for 5* and under: only fuse and evolve. For 6*: do whatever you want in any order.

Tips to follow and beginner traps to avoid:
Spend your bokko fruits very wisely, since it's the most reliable way to get strong units:
Waiting for gacha events (in our case, ones that have only kemono units) is the optimal way to spend bokko fruits. You'll get a guaranteed (random) featured unit ONLY if you do a 10-pull (that means you must pick the option to spend 50 bokko at once). Beware that some events reward units at the second 10-pull, in that case you'll need to spend a total of 100 bokko before the event ends. The subreddit regularly translate events that come out, including rewards for every 10-pull (if you're having any doubts, just ask here).
You can get more bokko by completing the daily quest, or earning more from specific main/special/challenge quests. If you fail a mission, you can spend a bokko to retry from the current wave, with enemies pushed back and your units fully healed. You can also spend bokko for expanding your units, friends and weapon slots (not generally worth it, unless you plan to collect/use more classes than just kemono)
The very first main quest mission gives as reward a jar (#1242) that can be evolved into one 5* unit of your choice. One of those is kemono Gévaudan (#458) that can be evolved in a 6* too.
You get free weapons as reward while clearing chapter 2 of main story. These weapons are very good since they're compatible with every class, moderately boost ATK and have no increased unit cost. Recommended to equip them on 6* units, since you'll be using those for a very long time before finding better weapons.
Do not reclaim every present: some of them have an expire date, others do not. You can treat the present box as a secondary storage.
Open you friend list and send yells (orange button) to them: you recover 3 stamina for every yell sent. If somebody yells at you, you earn a drink that recovers 2 stamina when used. Yells are limited but you get more everyday.
Notable active skills:
- Change bullet type (extra properties like more damage, faster attack speed, bigger AoE, different attack pattern etc.)
- Increase shot damage (gives a buff to affected units): use together with bullet-changing active skills for massive damage
- Fill skill gauges/reset cooldowns
- Heals HP/damage reduction for a limited time (good if missions are difficult/long)
Notable leader skills (from best to good):
- Partially fill skill gauges between waves
- Decreases crystal cost required for filling skill gauges
- Healing crystals also fill skill gauges
- Increase active skill damage/duration
- Reduce cooldown times
- Increase HP/attack/defense/all: every unit has it but still very important, your whole team MUST receive this from both leaders.

You're referring to the colored circle with a letter near your username, on the top left of the screen? After a bit of google-fu, I found out those letters aren't grades, but they are… nothing.
Sometime between older versions, whereas players were grouped in teams (hence team A, team B and so on) there were the so called "friend quests", content of said quests were different depending on which team were you on. Now those quests aren't available anymore; there's still the team system (so you're on team D) although it has no use for now. Maybe they'll implement something similar in a future update.

I've ripped about 118 models so far, with 85 of them being the Beastmen class, and some miscellaneous textures and music/sound effects. From my understanding the majority of 4 stars and below use a shared model base and they might have like different hair, and some 5 stars do too. Caith Sith comes to mind where her 4 star hair is unique but her body probably uses the generic beastmen model. All the models and their textures are always able to be ripped I think if you have the game installed, but the character icon and character art require them to be in the game cache, so just viewing it on the menu where you can pick someone else's unit is enough like these.
