Yeah, Tezuka did a really wide range of things. Tried pretty much everything. I suppose that he could not only be considered the farther of anime, but the father of kemono as well. Of course, kemono wold fall under anime. His love of it wasn't exactly a secret. You could really see it in some films such as Senya Ichiya Monogatari or Bagi. Kemono artists will still draw some of his characters. Dr. Comet for example.
