From what I've seen, Patreon can lead to a really bad downard spiral where the artist says "Well people are paying me to draw whatever I want so I guess I don't need to take commissions any more".

It's complete horseshit. Patreon fucked up commissioning.

Ive got a commission by him before

first time was fast like I emailed him, discussed a couple things and a few days later it was done

sadly my last few emails have got no replies

I sent one at the start of the year he discussed a few things with me and said he would get back soon

I emailed him a couple months later and never got anything back

I really would love to get more drawn by him
