This thread was made with the purpose of informing you. This thread contains the rules and the purpose of the board. You may also discuss admin behaviour in this thread, make suggestions for the board, post banners, et cetera. You may note the writing style is informal rather than informative. I'd like the board to be a bit laid-back like that.

Keyakizaka46?
Keyakizaka46 is a popular idol group from Japan. One trait that makes them stand out to me is that their focus is not on perceived cuteness. Instead they appear to just be a fun group of idols that produce pretty listenable tunes (I don't really like idol stuff usually), well-choreographed music videos and very entertaining variety shows such as Keyakitte, Kakenai? and KeyaBingo!.
My favourite idol is Ozeki.

I'm sure there are more and probably better ways to watch. But this is how I do it!
Sakamichi Series
K46 is part of what is referred to as the Sakamichi Series, a franchise of idol groups that are related to each other. One sister group is called Hinatazaka46 (or Hiragana Keyakizaka46 before 2019), they are frequently seen on K46 variety shows. Neru Nagahama, as sole founding member of the group, didn't join K46 until 2 years later despite featuring on every K46 single and frequenting many episodes.

This board is about Keyakizaka46, threads that stray far from this topic have no purpose here. Because these lines can be very blurry I am not making it a hard rule.
Sister groups may also be discussed, though the main topic is of course Keyakizaka46!
