Tempo addietro, ho avuto modo di scoprire l'esistenza di questo fumetto giapponese.
Stranamente, cercando sul web, non si trova alcuna informazione su di esso (a parte siti interamente in giapponese).
Dato questo, non sono mai riuscito a leggerlo per sapere di cosa parlasse.
Dopo molte ricerche, sono magicamente riuscito a trovare la scannerizzazione dei volumetti originali, che mi hanno permesso finalmente di leggere l'opera.
Dato che mi sono messo così tanto d'impegno, ho pensato di iniziare una traduzione vera e propria in modo che anche altri potessero leggerlo.
C'è da dire che il primo capitolo è abbastanza brutto, ma andando avanti migliora e, anche se complessivamente non è chissà che, se qualcuno mi chiedesse un consiglio su fumetti comico-demenziali, oltre ai più famosi Bobobo e Jaguar gli direi anche Taizo.

Che tu ci creda o no, tutte le pagine che trovo indicano che in tutti i dialetti italiani "culo" si dice "culo" o "cul".
Sto cercando tra sinonimi ed eufemismi, ma per ora sono a quattro su sei.

Mentre cercavo, ho trovato un simpatico componimento in romanesco che mi ha suggerito "er culoseo", che molto probabilmente utilizzerò in chiusura della forumula.

Nel capitolo di debutto di Atsuko, avevo messo una nota in cui spiegavo che lei fa sempre e solo riferimenti a Jojo, quindi per lei le note sono omesse.
Quelle volte in cui non è così ovvio ce le metto, tipo Inui che fa Jonathan Joestar magari non viene riconosciuto subito.

Più che altro Anime Ace (versione con lettere accentate.)
Nei primi capitoli ne ho usate anche uno o due diversi, ma quando sono andato a rivedermeli alcuni giorni dopo averli pubblicati, mi sono reso conto che non mi piacevano per nulla, quindi ora uso Anime Ace un po' per tutto.
Alcune nuvolette hanno dei filtri, ma alla fine molto probabilmente sono basate sullo stesso logotipo.

"Ukon" è la curcuma, "unko" è cacca.
La battuta è che Yuu aveva letto "unko" invece che "ukon" (e anche io a essere sincero avevo letto male.)
Ci ho ragionato un sacco per vedere di trovare qualche cosa che si sostituisse bene, ma alla fine ci ho rinunciato.

Come avete notato dal fatto che ho pubblicato due capitoli in due mesi, è stato un periodaccio.
A differenza delle altre volte che dopo aver pubblicato un capitolo iniziavo subito dopo la traduzione del prossimo, lavorandoci quando potevo, stavolta prendo proprio una pausa di una o due settimane.

È un gesto abbastanza comune che io sappia, quindi non ho annotato nulla. Nell'originale dicono pure "safe" (in inglese, che in italiano diventa "salvo" da quel che so.)

No, l'originale era qualcosa come "certamente" o "va bene" molto biascicato (perché era emozionato all'idea). Poiché non volevo togliere troppo spazio al "debiascicamento", ho usato "certo".
