Hey /hgg/, I've gotta game that I can't seem to translate, so I could use some help:

I tried using that "text Auto Translator ++" thingy with no success.

I've also tried VNR and several other hooking systems, but they didn't work either. I probably just sucked when trying them, however since Imma dummy when it comes to this stuff.

I've also tried looking through the game files to simply extract the in game text for translation without success, as I can't seem to find the in game dialogue text storage location. Menus yes, dialogue, no.

A full Japanese into English patch is what I'm looking for, please.

You can find a few bits of dialogue in the numbered "map" files inside the data folder. Translator++ can recognize them since they're literally just text on the .json. I tried translating a line here and it worked, except all the "i"s turned into hearts for some reason. These are likely just the npcs you can talk to and objects you can interact with in the map.

The rest of the text is probably directly tied to game events. Try looking in "scenario" at the root folder of the game and you'll see a bunch of .sl files, my guess is the rest will be scattered around those. You might have to decrypt them and look in each, don't know if there's an efficient way of doing that. And probably re-encrypt them after editing for it to work?

Often tutorial screens are tied to images so if you can't find the text for those they might be in the image folder.

You can find tools for decrypting the files through google but I'm not sure about reencrypting.

Yes but obviously keep a backup of the original sl files in case you fuck something up. I'd suggest always running the game again after being done with a file to check for errors or wrong text wrapping and whatnot.

Use Translation aggregator with ATLAS and google's web interface. I think you can find an easy set up over in the eragames thread. I mean, there's no magic to making machine translation not suck other than using multiple machine translations, an online dictionary for idioms that the machine translations fuck up (try using http://www.edrdg.org/cgi-bin/wwwjdic/wwwjdic?1C), and some basic grammatical knowledge to try and hack up something that is true to the meaning of the original and doesn't sound like garbage. That last bit is something that even competent translators go back and forth on.

The 100% save is for talking to characters and looking at their Hscenes, hence why the 100% save starts inside the "all HScenes room". If you leave the Hscenes room, you can go back into the game world and resume playing (the game will start with the first girl), since the game itself doesn't have a true "ending".

If on Firefox, do you have the MEGA extension? It's needed to open MEGA data on the website.

If you have Ublock Origin:

Under OPTIONS for Firefox add-ons, click the ellipsis, click options, "I am and advanced user", then close those options, click the UBO icon, click "requests blocked", then on the RIGHT SIDE of the pane for local use, click the three bars so they turn green "allow local" for MEGA, then the padlock to save the changes.) Double check blocking permissions and refresh the page.

For downloads larger than 1GB you must use the desktop version, since the MEGA site itself doesn't handle files larger than 1GB. Succubus Mama is 1.12 GB.

To use the desktop app, login into the MEGA desktop app with your MEGA account, click ADD then IMPORT LINKS. Copy the MEGA URL from THIS page into the clipboard, then paste it into the box, then hit submit. You should be good to go from there.

Where does the game freeze?

If you choose the first option at the main menu (most likely "NEW GAME" ??, I dunno Japanese), the game should work fine. Leave the bar after talking to the NPC with the CHECK MARKER above their head, walk along the path out to the forest while activating each CHECK MARKER function, then walk into the staircase thingy and mansion court yard garden.

In the garden out front, grab one flower pot and place it onto the fountain on the other side, then do that for the other side of the "aisle"; the front door should open. Get attacked by the fairy maid, Call of Duty Style quick time her off of you, enter the mansion and viola, your ready for the game proper.

If you choose the second main menu ("load game"??) and choose file 1, you'll start in the all scenes room.

ACTIVATE one of the crystals and you can:

OPTION 1: replay the lewd scene

OPTION 2: View the lewd scene CG

OPTION 3: leave the menu selection

Of course, you can always leave the room and play where you left off… which will be the first Succubus of the game….

Hey, it's OP again! Sadly still no progress with current translation BUT!there's a new Dieselmine game: MILKING FARM, and I've also gotten the Scenario SL Files extracted into TXT files, but the problem remains the same: TRANSLATION.

The "all scenes room" in this game is a bit funky, as you gotta go from room to room to view the scenes. As per usual, 100% Save in File 1 near the last room, but to access the all scenes room, you gotta :

Same Rules for MEGA apply like they always do: Open the MEGA desktop app, log in to your MEGA account on the app, copy and paste the link into the "import link" section, download and enjoy.

99% of all translation software shreds presumably good Japanese into English gibberish; It also doesn't help that the creators put in UNICODE symbols (Hearts, music notes, etx) into the text. It's HELL to deal with. Combined with my absolute lack of knowledge of Japanese and constantly having to translate via google then grammar check/edit text by hand.

It's gonna take some time, but once done, I'll do a MEGA link with the TXT only formats of every file, that way there will be at least something folks can look into, and grammar correct if they wish.

In theory, once post translation you should be able to re-encode the files again via DRAG AND DROPing back onto the EXE file. HOPEFULLY.

MILKING FARM has 365 SL -into -text files.

SUCCUBUS MAMA has 381 SL -into -text files.

God help me.

The translation is awesome, I didn't know the text were so good when I played it for the first time, but I'm getting this error often. Sometimes I can solve it by changing some file formats and filenames. I wonder if it's because I have a different version than the Mega one (which was deleted).

Possible patronizing aside (likely a misunderstanding, I should have been explicit to begin with, no offense taken), no… I was just pointing out that there are actual filename errors in that first link (see image for some of them), also yes, I did check the patch to see that none of these files (in image) get "replaced" by the patch.

if this archive does run properly in spite of these errors, then that's fine, plenty of rpgm have had unused assets.

I've not gotten around to trying this yet, so I can't say from experience if this is an issue, but I thought I'd point it out nonetheless, because it's often an issue where present.

You probably won't read this but here is some shit you can do when you run into problem with nip games

Jap sys locale

rename the game into non nip speak

move it into your C:drive or whatever you have your os on have no idea why but seems to solve loading problems

although it seems the problem you're having is a missing image so i'd say look for a cg rip and find that image and slap it into the image folder for the game and name it correctly

can't download the game from the mega file. on desktop it slows to a crawl in single digit kilos and with megasync it gets stuck on RETRYING on a particular file "crossedswords.rpgmvp"

I really wanna play this but the other download i had bugged with the english translation. when dialogue started it failed to load a specific image, but when i played before putting in translation, it worked fine. this whole process is confusing af. super new to playing japanese games. i just want my porn, man.

OKAY. So for some reason THAT particular file in that mega folder is fucked. However I had another game from another download, sorry can't remember where, that wouldn't work with the english patch from this thread. BUT. After downloading the game from this thread in megasync, i canceled the download and still had the rest of the game. when it told me which file was failing, i went into my other copy to find and copy it over. so now from the prologue i was able to properly start on my own save.

For those who have been receiving errors while playing the game, I figured it out! It seems that it's because you are mixing the latest translation (ver 1.51) with older builds of the game (ver 1.4 and lower).

So I bought the latest version of the game and applied the translation. Didn't come across any issues
