The long and short of it is that when 8kun came back migration of boards was stifled to hide the fact that certain boards weren't being allowed to migrate, because they were too controversial like /pol/. Eventually Jim was asked the loli question on one of his streams, decided it was CP and it was banned on his site, and Ron "got a lawyer" that declared loli was legally gray. Ron, not wanting fight his dad and have him think he's a pedophile defending child porn, banned loli globally. The loli/shota boards are never coming back, various BOs and vols revolted and abanoned the site, and threads like these could be nuked with a single global report.

Unless you want to recycle the town locations you're basically starting from scratch. All the writing and dialogue in the game is assuming you're gonna get fucked 6 ways from sunday and the battle end scenarios reflect that as well. It's all pretty simple Sugarcube script and variables, so the actual combat and stuff would be fairly easy to code. The real challenge is you writing an entirely different story and drawing the sprites to go along with. Plus, the degrees of lewdity dev went all out on the player's stat checks. Every mundane thing you can do has slightly different descriptions based on things like how promiscuous your character is and how assertive and confident they are. So if you wanted to recreate the game in all its glory you'll be writing dozens of combinations of narrations for every encounter in the game
