New to Koikatsu myself and tried it for the first time two days ago. Koikatsu is more akin to a VN with weaker gameplay. Where AA2 is more of a simulation type of game akin to Rai 7 or any of the Era Text games. Weaker story elements, but there is a drastic difference in how it feels.
Each Koikatsu game I started on the other hand, felt interesting when there was new dialogue to read, but on repeat personalities, it was just the same or same ole. Where my AA2 games just felt completely different with changing things from how many guys, or how little, does the school stay pure and normal, or turns into constant sex in the hallways.

I'm having an issue with clothing in sex scenes specific with futa characters. If the PC is a Futa, or Trap, and the NPC is a futa but is the aggressor in a sex scene(they are scheming, PC vulnerable or w.e) the NPC will not remove their clothes during the scene. In these type of scenes the player seems to have no control over it(since it's supposed to be rape), so how the hell do I get the NPC to remove their clothes? It looks ridiculous with clothes on.

So whats the appeal of this game? It's very popular but i don't get it.
The distant camera doesn't allow one to see shit. Interface is annoying with half the time someone running in front of who you want to click forcing you to use the menu.
Then using the menu if the character wasn't in the scene you might run accidentally in a discussion which they don't like. Characters just randomly run away like they are tailed by bees.
I'm lucky to get even a hug while half the class is ok doing an orgy because some random dude suggested it.
Why is this game so popular? How much time does one have to spend to see the good content?
