Overview
Hard Times in Hornstown. This is a text-based sandbox time managment game focusing on sexual situations including several fetishes. The game puts you in the shoes of a boring everyman down on their luck.Your goal is to manage time and money efficiently and to build a life for yourself that you always wanted. In order to enable trainer app you need to do the following:
1. Save your game to a .txt file.
2. Decode it with any base64 decoder you want.
3. Open it and find the patron|i:0 line and change 0 to 2. You might also wanna change the patroncode|i:0 and patroncheck|i:0 lines just in case.
4. Save the file and encode it back to base64.
5. Load the game.

The game has gone through several iterations - as I mentioned earlier, it started out in Twine, but is lurching out of Twine's grasp with struggling steps. Art is also being changed as things go along (I won't say "improving" because that's subjective).

You can free up some time by cranking up MC's INT and gambling in the casino. Cheating at blackjack can net you thousands, which means you never have to "work" 8 hours for a measly $100 unless you want to see the workplace story.

yeah I just tested it, still works for me. On 2.33 I could just create a female character without any issues. On 2.40 (yeah I just downloaded it off their website) I get an error message, but I can just hit continue and play as a woman. That said, in my experience most content is written for males and wont work properly for female characters.

Hornstown 2.8
The update contains a brand new quest, startable a few days after Mitsumi's is finished. It should be complex but easier to absolve than the first one. Mitsumis's quest has been reworked, so you can proceed with the detective storyline ven if you did not manage to find her (but you still need to get to the end). Mitsumi's quest now has a walkthrough available, making it easy to get through it if you haven't managed it yet. Alpha access patrons have the option to skip the Mitsumi quest altogether. The new quest also has one if you find yourself unable to proceed or if you want to check out if you have gotten the best ending. The other part of the update is for the Dom/sub storyline involving either Gordon or Victoria. Every aspect of the storyline received new scenes and there is a new option to choose which type of scene you want to partake in (not always of course. you are still the sub after all
