The reason towerfag got divorced from towergirls is due to a few reasons. His game sucked for a variety of reasons, but the ones that got him screwed were specifically that he falsely advertised what kind of content would be in his game, (the whole claiming NTR was "battlerape" when its your character watching your waifu get fucked in front of him), and the fact that he also repeatedly made the princesses act out of character, most egregiously, goblin princess being able to fuck dogs voluntarily in front of you when she specifically wants monogamy.

The game sucks for more reasons than that obviously, but those are the things Gats had a problem with. What REALLY forced his hands though was a public statement Towerfag made.

We here on /hgg/ got sick of towerfags shit and decided to make our own game, we were going to rip some of Kingdom conquests assets, but we also ended up making some of our own. Towerfag then proceeded to DMCA ALL the assets we used, even the ones we made ourselves, basically setting himself up like he was the owner of Towergirls. He didnt even do it professionally, he used his alias. He was completely hypocritical to do that, as HE HAD ALSO USED STOLEN ASSETS IN HIS GAME, from people who have since dissapear ed from the internet.

Towerfag also proceeded to claim towergirls was "public domain". Its not, Gats owns the rights to it, although he has given the devs of a DIFFERENT Towergirls game some share in it. Gats says that he has this so a coorporation couldnt simply swoop in and steal the brand and cash in on it. Regardless, if Gats wanted to KEEP that, he had to basically revoke Towerfags right to use it to defend that its NOT public domain.

Towerfag has since not ceased use of it past the point of getting in legal trouble for it. Even stealing assets from the NEW charts Gats has been making that expand more on the lore of Towergirls. It took him months to actually change it from being Towergirls even after getting in trouble.

Towerfag has also been proven to samefag on the 8chan threads and lurk here. Which has caused some people to be overly paranoid that any given defense of towerfag is towerfag himself, because it LEGITIMATELY might be.

The closest thing to actual NTR that isn't stupidly easy to prevent, avoid, or turn off in the settings is the slave auctions. The Princesses gain corruption when they're raped, and if you buy them as slaves they have corruption…but they can also be bought by other NPCs if they outbid you. Some of these NPCs are your rivals, who you can either get along with or fight against. I don't think there's any H-content that comes with them getting recruited by another guy, but the Princess has at that point been raped by enemy soldiers, probably the goblins she was sold to, and then "stolen" from the player as a potential party member and love interest by another guy.

The auctions are annoying and expensive. Without cheats, playing your game the wrong way can make it impossible to keep all of the reigns intact. If certain random conditions go one way, like the weather, certain Princesses can dominate the Northern and Southern territories. Once you've leveled up a little and figured out how to play the game, this is basically the only real threat you face as far as "losing" your Princess to anyone else.

So if that Princess has 0 Love, you can use the item on her and she ends up with 2 Love and 0 Lust.

And my experience playing the game that way was that everything was either about filling up the game's gallery by having sex, or about picking a Route to follow. Rebuilding Kobold Princess's Kingdom is pretty devoid of cuck content; you complete all of her Companion Quests, knock her up, and then bring her back to her ruined castle. Then you rebuild her Kingdom and gather her people. I stopped playing before the route was finished, but it looks like you're basically the King with a loyal, loving lizard-wife who wants to give you lots and lots of babies.

Dog Princess has a completed route, and two of the Dragon Princesses have completed routes now. If at some point any Princess's route involves her unavoidably fucking someone else, then cucking will be intrinsic to the gameplay because you won't be able to complete every route without getting cucked. As long as there's a way to not get cucked, then it's just a matter of "making the right choices" or "playing the right way," as I see it.
