I do. All of my "tries" were simply attendig the same university as me. And no, i don't start with "wifing" them out. But historically it was done as an arrangement that mutually benefited both families and often the woman had little choice in the matter. I'm not defending it, but that was the case for 99% of human history and still is in a lot of places in the world. And it changed only fairly recently. Maybe it's just growing pains. We'll have to wait and see if marriage rates get lower and lower or if it rubber-bands back to traditionalism at some point. I think you are right. I am working on being more sociable and overcoming my OCD with a therapist. I need to do some introspection about what I want in friends and a partner so I can stop floating through life socially and take initiative to meet those who will treat me well and would be best suited to my personality. Thanks for the advice.
