7. Do not raid/attack the board

Some universities and schools, think tanks, academic and industry journals, agencies, registrars, AT&T, CNN, Facebook, Instagram, Comcast, The Walt Disney Company, WarnerMedia, ViacomCBS, Amazon+, Netflix, Google, Youtube, Fox, Sony, Hearst Communications, News Corp, Nexstar Media Group, iHeart Media, Gannett, Snapchat, NYT, LAT, SFC, CHI Trib, BOSG, MIAH, WAPO, MSNBC, Vox, The NY'r, Wikipedia, Yahoo, Twitter, and many other media sources are at least mostly under editorial control of the United States government. What policies should be implemented to regain press independence of these from gov control?
