Potential double post but I've reloaded the page 5 times and the thread still doesn't show. I don't know what to say except fix your fucking site Jim. Recently I've been trying to sleep at an optimal but unusual time but have found that my body has started to rebel and at best wakes me up halfway or at worst forces me awake with 5 or 4 hours of sleep. This brings my heart great pain to know my body doesn't want to cooperate even after being awake 30 hours straight to force it to be able to peacefully sleep at that time, but an even greater physical pain because I'm still growing and it keeps working against me. It just doesn't want to sleep at that time but I can't cooperate with it, I have to sleep at that time. I'm thinking of just using pharmaceutical pills to force myaelf out for 8 hours but before I do I'd obviously like any natural, safer alternatives. This is very important so I need help desperately, I don't want to become addicted to pills just because my shitty body refuses to sleep at this time.

There is something called Melatonin that is somewhat natural and sold over the counter

I heard somewhere that naturally humans wake up in the middle of the night's sleep for 1-2 hours. sure enough, when I go to bed early (9-10 pm) I wake up at around 2 am. it's not natural to sleep 8 hours straight

"it's not natural"
we can sleep when we want, and sleep length is variable. do you use electricity?
the 2 hour middle of the night waking was common in the past.
industrial revolution changed that, but look for people around the world and you'll see that even in remote villages, they mostly sleep for one spell

my point is just that there's no need to be concerned over waking up in the middle of the night

Not everyone needs 8 hours. I only need 5 to 6. Extremely rare people only need 1 hour.

Melatonin works though not all do. Nature's Bounty 5m dual spectrum time release works well. But you know what works even better? TRT. Before I went on TRT, in the evening, I'd dim the lights, use red lights, amber glasses, no caffiene past 1pm (including soda nimrod) and a whole bunch of other things. But since I went on TRT I sleep like a baby. Worth getting tested for low T.

Melatonin has been mentioned, but there's also Valerian root and Kava. Valerian root is obtainable easily enough from any supplement aisle, take 2-3 grams 30 minutes before going to sleep and it may help. It's also purported to ease anxiety, which I think is true to an extent (it will relax me a bit if I'm jittery from caffeine), but everyone's biochem is different so your mileage will vary.

Displace as much meat, dairy, junk foods as you can with greens, fruits and vegetables. This fixed my sleeping issues. Melatonin will fuck you up, research it. Fixing a nutritional imbalance or deficiency with a bandaid will do no good.

Skip the caffeine. You'd be surprised how much better you'll sleep.

Melatonin. Watch the quantity. There is a big difference between 5mg and 5mcg. Also weed is a fantastic sleeping medicine if prepared correctly. Make crude hash and heat it when mixed well with honey. I use a coffee maker electric heat element to do this. It takes about 4-6 hours.

For me, sport is the best sleep aid. I often do sports and because of that my sleep has improved. When I contacted trollhaugen customer service ( https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/trollhaugen/customer-service.html ) and decided to visit it with friends, it was wonderful. We spent the whole day actively and thanks to that I slept like a baby!
