Yep, it is acquirable in public trackers with a decent enough quality. The beginning of the film felt like watching something apocalyptic, end times like and then when the salon is revealed it felt like a ghost story to me.

Hammering a point I had accepted on my own, it was bit less hypnotizing than Bitter Lake. As a project to "open the eyes" and birthing the crave to desimplify the world I don't know effective the document/essay is because I was already self-aware of the issue. Here and there he fell into oversimplification and leaps of faiths himself. Credit for connecting the dots and creating context in the same interesting way as BL does. One of the craziest parts of the document is the story of Jane Fonda dropping socialism/politics for creating those silly 90s workout videos. I like watching Adam Curtis for the historical and foreign affairs parts but I noticed he can miss the point on current domestic matters. For example he didn't give a satisfying explanation for Trump and Brexit. He said the left was fooled by computer algorithms which kept them isolated from other viewpoints and therefore unable to present their case against populist movements. But everyone is susceptible to falling into an online echo chamber, not just the left. More importantly he ignores the fact that lefty PC culture is an intentional isolation and disengagement from discussing certain topics - you can't blame computers but overlook such a big part of the cultural mindset.

A Kert (1933) by Hungarian Istvan Orosz
A haunting short animation that explores the themes of time and memory. "A Kert" inserts us into a faded childhood memory, one that is part real and part imagination. We are presented with a dreamlike sequence of silent gardens, lifeless mansions and still waters. There is also the ambiguous figure of a woman as both mother and object of desire.
I really liked the crosshatched art style used in this, though the shitty compression and low res didn't do it justice. I wish I could find a crisper version.
