Bumping to solicit more banners! It's been a while since people contributed fresh ones, so dazzle us with your photoshop/gif skillz and you could be featured at the top of the page.
Many previous banners have come from film scenes, but you're welcome to get more creative with the concept of film. (More film scenes would be fine of course.)

you should be able to set 300 x 100 pixels in the toolbar prior to cropping. then the selection box will be fixed at that ratio. then whatever area you highlight will be adjusted to the desired size.

Hey everyone, I'm bumping this thread to solicit more banner submissions. Banner editing was recently fixed after it had been disabled for months. Now we can have up 150 banners so I'm trying to build up a fresh rotation.
If you have interesting or appealing film-related images, please crop to 300x100 and post them here. It can be a screenshot, a photo, a poster, a gif, whatever you want. Be creative and funny! You can include the name of this board somewhere in the image, but that's not mandatory.
