> The Parallax View

I just watched this and it was better than expected. Gordon Willis and Alan Pakula worked well together creating a world dripping with paranoia. I need to watch Klute one of these days too.

I'd say the JFK assassination remains the most compelling subject for conspiracy theories.

Mark Lane was the earliest investigator to challenge the Warren Report and other elements of the event. His book Rush to Judgement came out in 1966 and led to this accompanying documentary.

The Source Family= California hippie cult

> The Source Family was a radical experiment in '70s utopian living. Their outlandish style, popular health food restaurant, rock band, and beautiful women made them the darlings of Hollywood’s Sunset Strip; but their outsider ideals and the unconventional behavior of their spiritual leader, Father Yod, caused controversy with local authorities. They fled to Hawaii, leading to their dramatic demise. Years later, former family members surface and the rock band reforms, revealing how their time with Father Yod shaped their lives in the most unexpected ways.

Since Alex Jones is having a big week from the Megyn Kelly interview, I remembered this great video of Alex when he was much younger (but looked exactly the same). Jon Ronson follows Alex as he investigates the Bohemian Grove. So many funny moments in this.

Based on the trailer, this OKC documentary has the same type of theories we've heard about 9/11 -- a truck bomb could not have caused that type of damage so there must have been additional bombs in the building. To me this angle seems pointless.

More interesting is the Feds' tenuous connection to the perpetrators. As with 9/11 there were undercover operations in the orbit of the OKC bombing suspects.

Also interesting is the story of Kenneth Michael Trentadue

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_Michael_Trentadue

and his brother's search (in vain) for surveillance video of McVeigh parking the truck.

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus

One of Gilliam's finest in my opinion and can heartily recommend it.

Also, trying to remember the name of a film:

>low budget (college film tier)

>man summons a demon because of reasons and he has to stay inside his protective circle to be safe throughout the whole ordeal

>the name of the film is only two letters long.

Any help?
