Do you know if there is more footage from that set? There was so much frantic energy and destruction in the film. I figured they would try to get their shot on the first or second take because it would take too much time to clean everything up.

I do not know how his sets were run but I would imagine that working on any Zulawski film would have been absolutely exhausting (mentally, emotionally, and for the most part physically); both for the cast and crew. Pic related supposedly has 16 minutes of archival and behind the scenes footage.

Are you familiar with Szamanka? Supposedly Iwona Petry (the main actress) quit acting because of how Zulawski was treating her during the shoot.
It almost seems by the time that Szamanka was filmed she should have known what she was in for, unless Zulawski grew particularly harsh in his later years.
