Almost too many good ones to mention?

A Decade Under the Influence is a nice documentary on the subject.

Bonnie and Clyde was a big deal of course, but I don't care for it that much. It's shot like a TV show, too many tight closeups. And Beatty's character is little more than a grinning doofus.

IMO a better "action" film from the same year is Point Blank.

I still watch 2-3 every year (new hollywood that is) and it's nice to revisit the humble charm of these films compared to the mindless garbage coming out today. New Hollywood was the first step into exploring the much wider world of film for me.
