A couple months ago I watched this documentary on Vancouver "North Shore" mountain biking. The bikers started building ramps, jumps, rails, see-saws, etc. in the middle of the woods. So the sport became much more intense and exciting.
The documentary is called Ladder Bridges. I got it from a torrent site but it's also on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mB_gOzG7Oc

Hey the boards not dead.
OP I'd recommend the entire filmography of Bruce Brown. His earlier surf documentaries are /comfy.

Interesting guy. Surfing is fun to watch but I don't know if I could get into it. There doesn't seem to be enough action compared to other sports. You ride for, what, 20 seconds?

It’s been said
On far shores, weary mariners hear voices
Songs so beautiful they cast a spell
There is no choice but to hear.
They claim these whispers hold a message
Each ear hears different music
But the same call hunts the senses:
Without risk, there is no beauty
Without chance, no adventure
Through suffering, wealth without limit
So we scheme and plan
And tell nobody of our dreams
Shuffle cards, chance vague variables
And tread endless road miles until
Close against cold ground we toss and turn
And summon black water

Mcconkey is ski/base jump Kino. ive seen the movie about 200 times cause it loops at my job working in a ski shop. If you want just fun snowboard movies anything by the old Forum crew was golden(fuck Burton) and DC's stuff like Mountain lab is classic.

Sounds cool, I'll check it out.
On the ski lift this year someone said that ski companies (like K2) are reverting to film instead of digital to shoot their promo material. Have you noticed that?
