Hey gang, I made an experimental short and want to submit to a film festival.
Unfortunately everything I've seen on Withoutabox wants me to upload video to Vimeo and send them the link.
Is there any other festivals I could submit it too where I can just mail a dvd?

Fucking vimeo has a 500 meg upload limit for their free profiles. If you want to upload an files larger then that you have to pay $200 a year for their pro account.

Around $20-40. They charge more money the closer the deadline is. Basically it's submit and wait. I don't even think about the short of the festivals anymore since I applied months ago and still waiting for confirmation. I've already started working on new projects in the meantime.

Sup guys, heard back from the first festival I submitted too. My short didn't get picked but they did say they might run it for another festival later this year that features work from northwestern states like Alaska, Oregon, and Washington. I'll hear back from the second festival sometime in February to see if they'll play it or not.
