What is a decent amount of kinks to have listed on a profile (customs?) I'm into a lot of things and want to be as open as possible. I honestly could fill up all 500 kinks if I was really pressed too. There is a lot of general stuff I'm into but then I can go into more specifics if needed. I want to shoot for no more than 150, but even then that can be seen as 'too much'

150's a fuckhuge amount. I'd advise keeping it anywhere from 8 to 15 per category (total of 32-60) with one of them being a subfetish for defaults. That way you got plenty of chances to list the most relevant things in your own words without making it overbearing. If you -really- have a shit ton of things you like, they're probably too niche or already covered by default kinks.

The problem I run into with the sub-fetish editor is that I'm an altaholic who has numerous characters, so I run into the issue of not being able to transfer kinks over.

I currently have 150 right now, but all of the kinks currently listed feel like they are important there. I'm terrible about cutting down the list, because I'm just into so much stuff and want to address all the things I like.
Its a bit of a double edged sword because on one hand if I mention all the specifics I like about things the people who do those things with me will be able to fully see what I like. However, it also turns people away because it can be overwhelming to see someone who is into everything and points out all of their tastes.

As far as I've seen, there's no real Vocaloid "canon", so I wouldn't stress too much about it.
At one point I was conceptualizing a fictional Vocaloid parody where the program was an actual instance of AI that could write its own music, later attaining a robot body, so that's one option.
Given the concerts are using hologram projectors now, you could do a hard light projection as a natural extension of that and if you wanna get weird with it, you can consider the nature of her individual "identity" and what happens when she's double-booked and the tour has the technology to literally put her in two places at once

How the fuck do I speed things up? No matter what I try to do, I always end up grinding things down to a very slow, detailed, methodical pace in the way things proceed. I mean this as in, I will go into the RP with the mindset of smashing holes by the second post as discussed, and still manage to fucking delay shit further. Maybe I just need to accept this as a consequence of detail, and find more time for my smut? Iunno if I'm worried about a non-issue so long as my partners don't mind. It sorta sucks when you get two hours deep into a scene and are transitioning between foreplay and your partner has to bail.
Another question: What are some good habits to pick up while reading, be it literature or erp logs? I try to write down every single word I even think I need to check the definition of and go over it later, but that's about it. Occasionally I'll save snippets I was really impressed with from a log and go over 'em a few times too.

Biggest tip I can give you is to write in terms of what your character is thinking and feeling; the actions don't need to be described in excruciating detail, but the emotion behind their actions really sells it. Save the detail for things that need it; put your energy into describing how your girl's lips are slick with a slimy concoction of pre and spit rather than worrying about how the light glints off her eye shadow.

Falling into a repetetious scrip of, foreplay, oral, penetration. Can get samey and boring. Even something as simple as going pussy to mouth instead can be nice if it's aleast doing things differently. Also remember you have control of how much time passes in a post or not. If you know you have about 2 hours before partner is likely to bail well, tweak your level of detail and actions to match.

I'm fucking inept and my brain totally locks up when it comes to first encounters, like the actual dialogue/actions that lead up into sex. You can do some of it on f-list, or if you want something more wacky and random try shamchat - it's a lot more silly, but for training reacting to sudden crazy prompts its concept fits. Fantasy adventurer? You can be seducing barmaids, buying whores, getting raped by a ravenous swarm of goblin girls, laying the defeated dragon, building a romance with fellow adventurer.
Modern? One night stand at the bar, hookup from a dating site, childhood friends, roommates by random chance.
None of these a "must be detailed on your profile" thing, they are something made up on the spot to fit.
Though sometimes things are easy. I play a genie, his lamp gets found, poof, straight track to smut. Or if you are a ravenous swarm of goblin girls, then you just pile up and go to town, from zero to 100 in one post.
