Don't worry. Infections still aren't slowing down, the security situation is getting worse, and they're running so low on vaccine they're halving the dose which hopefully proves ineffective. LOTS of nervous hand rubbing occurring as even healthcare organizations admit this outbreak may last another year or more.

'Terrifying' Ebola epidemic out of control in DRC, say experts
New cases over the past month have increased at the fastest rate since the outbreak began last year, as aid agencies struggle to enact a public health response in areas that have suffered decades of neglect and conflict, with incredibly fragile health systems and regular outbreaks of deadly violence involving armed groups.

Probable cases are remaining static. I guess they're not counting them anymore. Perhaps they don't have the resources or ability to investigate probable cases.
My guess is they are counting the people who come in for treatment. They're probably also counting corpses, if samples of those corpses test positive for Ebola. They're definitely not counting all of the corpses though.

1847 infections, 1218 deaths. They're running out of money to pay for safe burial teams. A treatment center was vandalized. More community deaths than treatment center deaths in latest updates. Three more burial team attacks have occurred. They're delivering half doses of the vaccine due to shortages.
It's going very well for Ebby right now.

Perfect time for this pic. Seems our girl has a sense of humor.
Reminds me of that story about some army dude and a village hiding a VIP. A private broke a glowstick, said he put the chief's soul in it and if they give them VIP, he'd give them the stick and the soul would slowly come back. It worked.

Hate to rain on the parade, but it's not the first time this has occurred. What we've seen in the past was there is a latency period from when the vaccination is given to when the person develops immunity. Within this window infection is possible. That health officials ignore this and continue to put the vaccinated but not immune on the front lines demonstrates either their desperation or ignorance.
Or, maybe this is not the case here and she has mutated. She's certainly capable of it.

>We've amplified our commitment now to this greater number of around 850,000 [doses]," said Irvine.
>He said they arrived at the figure after consultations with WHO, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and "other interested parties as to what they believe will be needed in the event that the outbreak continues."
Irvine said Merck has another 250,000 doses ready to ship.

Apaprently there were 3 confirmed (and 0 probable) cases of our girl in Uganda, all 3 have died. In addition 1 new suspect today.
1507 people have been vaccinated. If my shit-tier math is correct that is 0,004% of Uganda's population. Notably, there were 0 vaccinations today. Wonder why not.
Hey, this thing even has a "Runaways from isolation" category. 0 today but corpses tend to not run I guess.

GOOD NEWS
We Goma now
>The Ebola virus has reached the Congolese city of Goma, home to 2 million people and a transport hub for swath of central Africa, for the first time since an epidemic began in the country nearly a year ago.
>The Congolese health ministry said a man who had arrived in the regional centre on Sunday had been quickly transported to an Ebola treatment centre.
>Authorities said they had tracked down all the passengers on the bus the man had taken to Goma from Butembo, one of the towns hardest hit by the disease.
>“Because of the speed with which the patient was identified and isolated, and the identification of all the other bus passengers coming from Butembo, the risk of it spreading in the rest of the city of Goma is small,” the health ministry said in a statement.
And on a side note:
>On Monday the health ministry said two Ebola awareness workers had been killed in the affected zone.
