have any of you given thought to how your fetish could actually be realized within your lifetime?
here are some questions for you, why not work towards building your robofu?
Is anyone here actually involved in robotics or computer science?
If half of us worked on the mechanics, and the other half on the artificial intelligence, how much faster do you think we could come to making this a reality?
how would you design her body? how would you program her mind?
then there are the legal challenges that come with sentient, sapient machines, where any of you who work in the legal profession could come into use.
since this is technically a tech board, I'm assuming you are all atheists, so if she worries about a soul, would you make her feel better by telling her that human's don't have souls either (and that souls are a lie people tell to themselves to allay their fears of free will being an illusion, and of consciousness ceasing to exist after death)?
if she wanted a job, or if she wanted to get married, would you fight for human rights for non-humans?
what about the discrimination she would likely face, especially if she starts replacing humans in the workplace, or wants to marry you in what is supposed to be a religious union, or if people automatically assume (from sci-fi) that robots/AIs would want to wipe out and replace humans (like steven hawking)?
would you be willing to fight for her rights, before things get to the point of judgement day (of course, if she promises to spare you no matter what)?
and what about her rights as a mother, should either of you assume the care of children (either human or robotic)?
wouldn't there be some hypocrisy in that, if you have paid for her, and essentially caused her to be born by activating her, she is both a slave, and underage, yet you want a relationship?
not to mention the challenges that come with having a girlfriend who is essentially immortal, especially when you consider yourself as an old man, and her exactly the same as the day you first met. And iPost too long. Click here to view the full text.
