Repost of a deleted thread. Basically, I think we should give some of the old bots some love. Please try to keep your bots older than 37 years old.

Why was it deleted? Did you accidentally delete it?

I deleted it because I realized I did not give the thread a title. It looked awkward to me.

I might as well recreate the post I made.

>those planes

Excellent taste, but It's hard to think of many bots from 1970 or earlier that have much porn.

That said, the oldest lewd robot I know of is Maschinenmensch, from the 1925 book Metropolis.

She may not be arousing by today's standards, but she's historically significant.

Fun fact: when the film version was being made, the crew would sip in coins in the costume.

I don't know what you mean by "today's standards", but fuck them anyway if they don't value such robots.

>1925

She also could have been one of the oldest "robots" to begin with, Čapek coined the term in 1920 and got introduced to the anglosphere in 1921 but I don't think they used the actual word in Metropolis. Any older than that and you get to call them automatons, but then good luck finding any lewd material except perhaps dolls playing the harpsichord with their ankles showing.

You're correct. Metropolis was German originally, so the term "machine" was used instead.

"Maschinenmensch" translates to "machine person".

Pssh, what a whore. Getting fondled by a half dozen barely dressed men? No modesty, she's even letting them take pictures.

I love 50's and 60's robot designs, modern robot designs try to hard to look like metal people.
