I've kinda been slipping up on not masturbating recently, trying to get back on my feet with that one but it's very tough. With God all things are possible so I'm not too worried though. I've been reading the Bible just about daily for probably a month or so now, I think I only missed one day where I was unbelievably busy. But I'm in the book of Psalms now, which I'm liking so far. I've been trying to read through the old testament and have been going through it at about 5 chapters a day (minimum). My productivity could be a bit better, but I'm never extremely slothful. I guess if I had to focus on one change it'd be to spend less time getting caught in the YouTube trap or on chans and reading the Bible instead, but that's been getting better.

It's absolutely terrible that so many people think nothing of it, they even go so far as to dehumanize unborn babies. The hardline fire and brimstone approach tends to make most people defensive and combative, and hardened of heart. Then again, the latter approach may be what certain people need to hear. Pray to the Holy Spirit for discernment in this matter. And always remember: at the end of the day, God is in control, and as long as you persevere, it will all work out in the end, whether in this life or the next.
Also, never underestimate God's ability to change hearts and minds. Whether it be the Apostle Paul, or an ex-druggie/hippie/hipster/LarPagan like yours truly: do not give up on praying for your family and loved ones, ever. For if an unrighteous judge will hear the cries of widow for justice just based on wanting to make her go away due to her persistence, how much more will a loving merciful God answer the prayers of one who loves him?

Can you expound on this? Do women care about looks primarily, or is it mostly the personality/confidence? I've seen men get woman to fawn on them on looks alone, but I've also seen ugly people get women as well.
Also, I'm a 30 year old virgin, I think my personality is damaged and my social ability with women is atrophied. I can only talk to people in a "matter of fact" or "straight to the point" kind of way - Less jokey and more serious.

Guys, I've been succumbing to my lust a lot more than usual recently. I don't know what it is, I was doing so well and then all of a sudden it came back and I can't shake it off. I'm sick of being trapped in it, it's a drain on me both physically and mentally. Just the thought of it makes me sick, but my body goes through with it anyway when I inevitably let my guard down.
