Checkmate indeed. If Protestantism were true, there would not be 33,000+ denomination

I know. Oddly enough, today's homily was about the New Christians who aren't Christian at all.

A common Protestant defense. It has some validity to it, but since most protestant religious were founded on the idea of sin e.g. Anglicans to loot the Church and divorce their wives, Lutherans to loot the church, squash the people and marry nuns, Calvinist so they don't have to do good works, and most so they can sin and don't bear good fruit i.e. "solar fide" it doesn't really wash. This sodomite protestant pastor is just a natural result of the logic that you can make up excuses for sin.
At least the Catholic Church Novus Ordo on Paper officially condemns sodomy.

This. If there are 33,000 denominations, then 32,999 are wrong.

>most protestant religions were founded on the idea of sin
All protestant movements began in an effort to reform the church, including the Anabaptists
>and most so they can sin and don't bear good fruit i.e. "solar fide"
Its sola fide, and you're describing antinomianism.
>This sodomite protestant pastor is just a natural result of the logic that you can make up excuses for sin.
The data doesn't support you, and this "protestant" pastor expressly wants to "tear down the evangelical church"
>If there are 33,000 denominations, then 32,999 are wrong.
There aren't 33000 denominations. Its a myth propagated by brainlet e-catholics who get their apologetics from memes.

You also forget that the catholic church is itself composed of 24 churches which in your theology are equally valid

This chart tells you that of the folks who say they're catholic, 40% or less really are Catholic.
>All protestant movements began in an effort to reform the church, including the Anabaptists
Strangely enough, most of them were "reformed" to deny good works (fruits of the vine) or to allow a sin (divorce).
>spell correct got you in the ass.
True.
>this "protestant" pastor expressly wants to "tear down the evangelical church"
Yes.
>If there are 33,000 denominations
I have no idea how many protestant denominations there are, but there are at least dozens. All but one religion is false. Probably all the protestant ones are wrong.
why would they all be wrong? God made one church. God gave the Apostles the power to forgive sins (not each individual person). God promised his church will prevail against the gates of hell. Each protestant church claimed something that was against the existing Church. Logically, the protestant churches must all be false. It's thus Catholic or orthodox now. Are you orthodox?
There is one Church dogma found in the true encyclicals. the eastern rite Orthodox in the catholic church agree on this teaching. And the other Greek Rite churches are far more in agreement with the Catholic Church than the protestants

Sola fide taken to its logical end is antinomianism, which is why Protestantism has had a such a heap of antinomianist sects.

Just part of the protestant concept that anyone can form their own church and have their own opinions.
Catholics only have to sort out what's going on:
Heretics can't be Pope: SSPV
Heretic Popes are sinners, but still Popes and we want our own Bishops cuz ordination must be valid: SSPX
Heretic Popes are sinners, but still Popes and we must obey but resist: FSSP

Who on Earth draws the line between who is and who isn't Christian? It once was defined at those who believe the Nicene Creed, but there is a difference between lip service to the Nicene Creed and believing it.

I was referring to the fact the person in the video was probably part of the Universalist Unitarians, which is so liberalized that not even themselves concider it Christianity anymore: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitarian_Universalism
Hope that clears up the confusion.

We don't need to be legalistic about who is and isn't a Christian, we know. God has given us His word and we use that to measure how much a so-called "Christian" will follow it. When you are a Christian, you believe that scripture is divine and infallible, so you will abide by quite a few basic beliefs. Of course, we all sin, but there is a difference in doing it because of our nature, and repenting for it, and doing it deliberately for the world to see. Being gay is wrong. Cursing is wrong. Your body is a temple, tattoos are bad. There is NOTHING wrong with evangelical Christianity, Universalism is a sick perversion of Christianity, and using he/they pronouns is essentially mocking God because we think we know ourselves better as to create a new identity for ourselves as opposed to the gift that he has given us.

Not only that, ACAB is pretty unscriptural, although there's probabl some wiggle room for discussing the actions of the modern police force, BLM is a very worldly political organization, which doesn't care about Christian values and is rooted in hatred, wrath, and malice, trans people need help, and neurodivergency isn't really a qualification. The ONLY correct thing on there is loving your neighbor, but even THAT'S partially incorrect. The two most important commandments are to love Jesus with all your heart, and then next to love your neighbor. Nowhere did he mention loving yourself, and unfortunately that's probably used for some body positivity stuff or to be complacent with who you are.

No mainline protestant denomination is ok with this. All heretic denominations are protestant, but not all protestants are heretics like this. You can blame it on political progressivism, and if you're bashing protestants for it, it's only a matter of time before the Catholic church falls to this.

But they are protestant and claim to be christian, sort of.
And how do you define "mainline protestant denomination"?
And given that Protestantism is open to redefining what is the belief, how do you define heretic? Each denomination must believe all others to be heretic on some basis or they'd be the same religion.
For the first 1930 years, the Catholic Church was always consistent. New doctrine had to be consistent with old doctrine. The ideas of protestantism and Vatican II throws all that out the window.

The Catholic Church has sinners in it, you betcha.
But Christ told us of his dislike of the sin of hypocrisy. Unless you belong to a religion that you can prove has no sinners, you shouldn't throw stones.
And yes, many Catholic priests, like Father Chad Ripperger, advised us to check to see if we're donating our money wisely. I didn't realize that Catholic Relief Services, according to "Life Decisions International", donates to Planned Parenthood! Amazing! Then there was the infamous Vatican donation to the Transexual prostitutes who were out of work because Covid! I think that was an abuse of the money from Peter's Pence!
Father's Chad's message was that there are better places to donate our money.
I think the best place to put our donations is into the Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary. There's only 112 FSSP Latin Mass priests in North America. We need a lot more! There are entire states without so much as a FSSP apostolates.
As for charity for the poor, I give to the parish food bank as being better than Saint Vincent de Paul, which facilitates illegal aliens stay here illegally which can be a capital crime in the US. While that crime is not enforced anymore, under Catholic law, helping criminals commit sins of theft, battery and murder is a mortal sin.
