Here's a yotsuba B variant of the /cyber/ - /christianity/ CSS

https://pastebin.com/mPPu5FGP

Try pasting it into your theme

If we like it I can make it the default board css

That font is horrifying. Don't muck with CSS, please. If we want custom CSS, we can do it ourselves in Options.

Though you do need to change the link at the top to the log to:

It has to be sys.8kun or it goes to a 403.

Perhaps, but this board already had a long standing culture without the need for custom CSS. Christ is our culture, not fancy text or pictures.

I just want to thank the BO for agreeing on migrating here instead of keeping /christianity/, even though the latter is more active. That being said, I hope this place will not become an anti-catholic circle jerk. Good luck BO.

That was just a idea by that poster to deanonymize the BO to Jim so the board could have some assurance that the BO was Christian. I think it's kind of silly and unnecessary.

>>826891

An echo chamber by definition is when dissenting voices are absent or can't be heard. Board history shows we can all get along fine when there isn't partisan censorship.

If that ever becomes the case around here I hope an alternative board displaces this one again. That's the beauty of this site.

yo Boanerges, stick whatever font you like up – make your mark and do your thing if you want; people will either dislike it and complain or like it and find something else to complain about

also; props on getting rid of the 'Christanon' default moniker which was nonsense seeing as how many unbelievers frequent this place

or put it back on if you want so as i can complain about something while saging this sticky

Nearly 6 years of board culture destroyed by handing over the board to the the guy who runs "sfw /b/ with Jesus". That's nice. All our stickies gone, every rule changed, the Nicene Creed removed.

I guess, as long as people don't let the thread die, which sitcky-ing would ensure that it won't.

>>826896

>Nearly 6 years of board culture

You mean half-a-year of inner turmoil as the former mod team banned everyone left and right, and a year of the pure toxic variety of Catholicism (some of you Cathobros are alright), where the inner circle didn't even like the image board experience, then another few months of hiatus due to the death of 8ch. That's your "board culture" that you value, but very few who remember pre-Tutor /christian/ would rather we just move on.

I'll admit that's true.

But honestly, my main issue is that he had /christianity/, it was genuinely more active than this place recently, and there was literally no reason for Jimmy to give him another board on the exact same subject.

The entire point of 8chan is that, if you don't like a place's moderation, you can make your own board. Why would you actually assist a man in monopolizing the old, traditional boards on some subject?

Would a christian anime thread be allowed? There are some pro-christian shows that we could talk about. And if you aviod some questionable stuff, the medium is pretty wholesome. It's a good influence. Besides, kun/chan boards should have some anime on them. It's part of the culture.

This is cookie cutter liberal response; I can hear this verbatim from gay marriage activists. Anime is largely a medium for degeneracy, in the context of imageboards. Even the image this "Christian" poster is using is just low key lewdness using scant Christian symbolism.

Yeah, nah. I'll wait for the Scriptures that say so. Don't bother, they don't exist.

"If with Christ ayou died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations–

21 "Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch"

22 (referring to things that all perish as they are used)– according to human precepts and teachings?

23 These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are bof no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh." (Col. 2:20-3:1 ESV)

Well, it might have something to do with pedophiles and nazi shooters kicking us off the search engines, and now when you google us, the first links describing us as a den of stormfaggots and conspiratards(not that this website helps, with /pnd/ has slithered their way into being the first board again, and the QAnon crowd setting shop here, too)

You catholics love the crucifix because it holds Jesus up to ridicule and scorn. The cross is an idol from pagan rome, a sacrifice was made on one unto their sun god who is ultimately satan.

When you freaks aren't crying "prot prot prot" you're crying "da j00s da j00s da j00s". It'd be funny if it wasn't so sick. When catholics were caught kidnapping children and selling them to catholic families, they were pointing the finger at jews saying they'd steal your kids. Ignoring of course, the never-ending child abuse from the Vat-of-sin (also all the pagan idolatry in Rome). I'm sure you'd even defend the phallic obelisk without even knowing its occult/pagan roots.

<dumb arrogant prideful pompous

<stupid

<retarded dumpster baby pagan

<snot-nosed brats

Sensing level of snide and vitrol behind them I think these are incredibly rude and indenfensible coming out of the mouth of a supposed 'Christian' directed to a fellow brother clearly. If they were in a lighter tone or somehow put forward in a different context however then I can see how they might be excused on a lenient mod policy. Heck, in quite a different, appropriate context some of these could comprise some good vocab for light hearted diggs you might be tempted to throw out to someone at one time or another.

Your leniency, however makes an absolute mockery of rule 3 (and rule 5 but that's a useless/meaningless rule anyway) when posts containing attacks such as the following are permitted:

<subhuman going to hell

<subhuman pagn retard

<cathcult subhuman

<subhuman retard

Genuine question: Just what exactly is the point of having rules if you're not going to bother enforcing them? By way of a reminder, rule 3 is pasted here for you and other anons:

3: No excessively rude comments

I normally wouldn't care but I'm actually shocked at your nonchalance about the above posts which has necessitated this post. You guys have a responsibility to get your moderation right. I implore you to actually take that responsibility and the enforcing of the rules seriously.

I already qualified that I was of the view that the opposite modding approach (perma banning anyone that breathes and deleting all of their and their aunty's posts) made for a completely disfunctional board (as already alluded to, all of the threads that had any potential for any interesting discussion ended up having half the posts missing) that just pushed people away because of how pointless being here became. Again, I implore you to get your moderation right and take it seriously.

You have the opportunity to (attempt to - I'm bringing expectation down a notch given I know we're on a chan..) curate and fashion an excellent, edifying, engaging, balanced, fair and just board with this place, and make a big improvement on what the last one became. But by allowing s— like that quoted in the above posts it is being wasted and you're negging on your responsibiliy as mods. Like I said normally I wouldn't care but something about the vitrol and repeated attack of 'subhuman' and condeming to hell from one (v unstable sounding) 'Christian' to another that has got to me, but what has frustrated me more is the reaction to it. Your leniency in light of posts like these does you guys and everyone else here a disservice.

I'd happily shrug it off, no matter how nasty the comments, if the rules of the board permitted such dialogue. If rule 3 wasn't part of the rules I'd have no grounds to complain to you guys that an injustice has occured. But rule 3 is part of the rules.

>Dealing with this is a whole lot better than having an inquisition declared and having someone put you over a rack for having "wrong" beliefs

Did you read my posts? I've twice already explicitly stated dealing with it this way (previous mod regime) is not good. I just strongly advised enforcing rules when they're clearly broken in order to make a better board.

For some reasons mods deleted my thread about there being mythology in the Bible and here is my response to a particular Prot who responded to my thread.

>>839089

>When I see you say this, what you are saying to me is that parts of the Bible are a system of fables respecting the deities of heathen nations. I disagree.

Or rather re purposing them to monotheism, worship of the true God, who is YHWH. Christianity has historically baptized pagan things and turned them Christian. St. Paul literally reappropriates a hymn to Zeus in Acts 17 to the God of Israel, he literally says that their unknown God is the God of Israel as well. He is directing the false worship of those deities, deities who are personifications of nature, to the transcendent God who exists outside of nature. The very idea of Logos is "pagan". It comes from the Greeks, but the writers of the NT and LXX recognized that it was the same thing as what the original author of Genesis 1 was talking about when he narrates how God created the world. They baptized it. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

>So are you saying the system of fables for heathen nations is true? Or, are you saying every person has his or her own truth, so, in some remote sense, everything is "true" even mythology?

Not saying there are multiple truths. But there are truths in pagan mythology, yes. There are "truths" contained in every religion, and if I remember correctly the Catechism of the RCC admits this. Christianity is the fullness of the truth, it is the sum of it all. In a lot of mythological and religious traditions there are common archetypes. Don't you believe in Adam and Eve? Don't you believe we all come from a single source?

>And?

How is that an association fallacy? I gave an example of how you butcher Biblical symbolism. I made no fallacy based on association, you're straw manning. I said you do the same with Genesis 1 but with apocalyptic literature I was simply giving an example but not immediately making it follow that because you interpret Revelation wrong you must also be interpreting Genesis wrong. It was an example and you are straw manning.

When I say mythology I'm not using it how fedoras use it. They blew it up into semantic overload. I am using it in its proper context and not pejoratively. Just because something is myth does not mean its fiction.

I disagree wholeheartedly and I don't appreciate the false flag if that's what this is. The guy is persistently inculcating everything in anti-God blasphemy, it's on purpose it's a conceived strategy and its meant with smooth talk to get people going along with it just as cults do and it just shouldn't be left on this board. It's blasphemy. What about the real God? Aren't we forgetting somebody really important here?

If a person actually had any regard or respect for the things of God's word this would get to you. It doesn't matter that some false prophet has spoken flattering words to your ears. That shouldn't be as important as the fact it's promoting an abhorrent blasphemous non-christian false entity masquerading as the living God of the Bible. Can someone please do something about this? Is there no moderation?

In order to get such a big userbase you need a faster waterfall of random hits coming into your site, however now everything's blacklisted because it ain't kosher with the politically correct kabal. Anon, they had this site targeted for a takedown for a long time prior to this. It didn't matter what nonsense reason they could find, they took the first thing they could in order to try to shut it down. There was no reasonably preventing it, none of it happened for a reasonable cause; people have posted abuse to facebook and twitter, yet they didn't have their legal protections revoked. You can't just selectively blame one website and not another, if that's what you're going to do. The language you use is inexact because the media was simply told to report it as if it was all caused in one place, despite no facts actually reflecting this. It was posted on other large social media websites. Shooting stuff from many incidents have also been posted on other websites as well, I'm just not seeing them getting hit by a coordinated media attack that blames them for it. You see, it wasn't that any of this actually happened. People were not plotting on here any more than they were on instagram. That's retarded whataboutism, and you know it.

The Facebook ecosystem(Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp) does get criticized and called to accountancy for permitting violent and/or illegal s— from getting streamed on their platforms, and they have a massive AI+Human moderation team that literally winnie the pooh themselves up psychologically dealing with this stuff, and still don't cover it all, since we are talking about billions of users posting countless things every day.

8chan, by contrast, is a tiny site with low traffic, so it can self-moderate just fine.

And before you say "well, they can't cover all this 24/7", need i remind you that we also had a CP problem in the early days, that also got us with warnings of getting shut down for it, and the mods promptly stamped it out just fine?

However, the fags on /pol/ were unable, or unwilling, to police their community from going too far, so the blame falls on them.

And it's just /pol/.

/tech/ wasnt shooting up Genius Bars, /islam/ wasnt getting livestreams from salafi militia beheadings and ISIS manifestos posted on their board, /qanon/ isn't organizing armed witchhunts for the deepstate, etc.

Literally every other board, on every chan on this planet, is doing just fine, not murdering anyone, or having to explain itself in front of Congress for their retarded members doing terrorism, even when their membership includes people that are literally mentally ill, except one.

So yes, that puss-filled tumor of a community is to blame for getting us offline.

Let's consider for a moment that a dedicated and resourceful group decides to use their vast resources (including their assets like Crusius or Tarrant) to harm - a tiny site with low traffic - and low funds - 8chan. How can 8chan defend from such a group? A common sense would say it can't. And yet it prevailed.

8chan was attacked tremendously since the early days. First they came for 8chan's financing (remember Fredrick getting deplatformed by every single financial service? Except for Bitcoin, but Bitcoin was quite hard to obtain and process at this time). Then the DDoS attacks - expensive to deflect, hurting the wallet even more. Most websites of this size would collapse at this point. Later attacks are just a history. At some point the groups being most harmed by 8chan (/pol/) exposing the truth had to resort to false flag terrorism to effectively shut down this website for many months.

>Literally every other board, on every chan on this planet, is doing just fine, not murdering anyone, or having to explain itself in front of Congress for their retarded members doing terrorism

Literally every other board complied by disallowing citizen investigations or were too small for anyone to bother. Except for when 8chan came down and a false flag was organized on Endchan.

Now, don't get me wrong - I don't say that Crusius or Tarrant weren't 8chan users. Those dedicated and resourceful groups were here from the beginning, maybe even conditioning aforementioned people using 8chan. 8chan should have self-moderated back then, but it didn't for many reasons.

And the fact that they did nothing to distance themselves from them, or prevent it from happening again, despite shootings happening multiple times and being warmed that it would result in termination, means they are responsible.

I clearly stated:

>8chan should have self-moderated back then

And I clearly stated:

>Those dedicated and resourceful groups were here from the beginning

We can't talk about /pol/ as if this influence didn't exist, because it was integral.

>And the fact that they did nothing to distance themselves from them

OK. That's a fair point. 8chan administration had a wealth of possibilities and they chose to do nothing except for a few public messages disavowing the murderers. Would doing something else change what happened? Possibly, but we may never know, because I don't think anything short of complying with the terrorist demand of removal of an open political discourse field could have stopped what happened next.

>Again, we kicked CP off our platform just fine, so "there was nothing we could do" is bulls— of the highest order.

CP is fairly easy to classify. The problem of preventing harmful conditioning is hard if not outright impossible, especially if part of it was possibly happening outside of the platform. If you really think it's just about removal of threats and loaded messages, then think again, really.

Now we have some power of hindsight and we can criticize previous actions, but the landscape has shifted and the Internet has matured a bit. It looks to be calmer now. Let's pray to Christ for His forgiveness and guidance for the Internet stewards.

Stop being cucks. There had been a concerted effort to demonize and shut this place down ever since it was created, this is obviously because this is (was) one of the very last bastions of socio-politically unacceptable free speech and dissent on the internet. The original proxy that they used for years was all the pedophiles, then when the opportunity presented itself, it became those ebil racists (which were clearly responsible for the actions of another person, right?). They were finally able to get their efforts to destroy 8chan into the mainstream media and they were able to pressure cloudflare (though, that's not to say the (((higher ups))) at cloudflare weren't in on it, remember how they stood by 8chan explicitly, then in the very same day they declared they wouldn't do anything suddenly flip-flopped and announced their intention to cancel service to 8chan? If you remove the "UR A CUCK", and "the joos are out to get us", the only thing you are left with is a vague "moderation is impossible", which is bull, since that's why we have mods in the first place.

Yes, you can't police it 100%, but even having more prompt standards for responding to pro-violence red flags, and taking down the mass shootings posts immediately would have likely stopped it, especially since there were 2 shootings for /pol/ to get it's s— together(and again, you don't even have to police the entire chan, just one problematic board).

>Yes, but it mostly solved the problem.

No it didn't (that is it stopped them from harassing those children, but nothing else), it put the problem out of sight. Pedophiles are still watching and commenting on those videos, they're just doing the latter on other websites. Of course we shouldn't allow people to sexually harass children, but let's not pretend that banning pedophiles from youtube comments sections has gotten rid of them. And that is a relevant point to be made here, that you can't eradicate the wrongthink you determine to be "violent ideas" by suppressing the speech of the people who believe those ideas. Shutting them up will not change their minds. Instead, it will drive them elsewhere where you can't reach them and galvanize them in their opposition to you.

>and still don't cover it all, since we are talking about billions of users posting countless things every day.

Exactly. So, you don't see the media starting a coordinated campaign to single out any of those sites. You don't see them stomping their feet up and down, making a conniption fit over any of those posts with media reports. They could tomorrow if they chose to. But first of all they know those sites are too big, also second of all because those sites are already well within speech policing norms. Yet regardless, you don't see any of those sites being targeted with media stories as if every single one on the site including the owners are in on the plot of what one person posted there, and who also posted on other sites. You just don't normally see these bizarre stories that make insinuations that everyone on it is part of a terrorist cell on the basis of what one post, which was placed on multiple websites, said. It's clear there was a pre-existing agenda and no matter what anyone did, they would still blame them for something or another, no matter how unreasonable, and call in the hit squad to get them shut down.

The site was already targeted for takedown prior to any of this happening; it's obvious why. And so they just took the most convenient crisis by never letting a crisis go to waste, to take out a site that someone just didn't like for whatever reason they had probably related to free speech. They did it by fabricating a story through pure insinuation by implying without any factual basis that every single person on the site was a terrorist. If you look at the stories they ran, this is the distinct impression they make. It's very similar to a lot of other media corruption nowadays. Some person will use that corrupt system for character assassinations in the political sphere, for very similar self-motivated reasons: making up false stories as they go (probably by commission toward one of the media moguls that controls AP or reuters), in order to poison the well against whoever they think would be damaged by such a story. The news only reports things that go through the "official mainstream" new agencies. There is your ministry of truth right there. It controls what gets reported as facts. If they say some site is responsible, then from then on that becomes ground truth for all mainstream media reporting. Yet the actual facts in the case, such as that this was an unreasonable charge made selectively against one site and not another, have zero weight on any of this henceforward for the mainstream news.

If you still haven't figured any of this out yet, you are in for some real big surprises in the future as someone that far disconnected from the reality of how this stuff works.

>having to explain itself in front of Congress for their retarded members doing terrorism

The only reason for this is the AP or reuters hitpiece. Those are the people who control whether any of these things happen, not actual facts or investigations. They didn't like 8chan, there happened a useful crisis, so they strategically wrote the untruthful smear story. And that became the only truth mainstream media ever knew.

Rest of what you wrote is dismantled by this fact. Also all you have to have done in order to have survived this thread, is pay attention to what's been going on with the very same corrupt media people for the last, I dunno how long. Since Trayvon Martin at least. One false report, one set of talking points becomes incontrovertible truth to every cable channel and talkshow and nothing outside of it is allowed to be mentioned or considered. Except outside of this little progressive-only echo chamber, where the same are trying to inhibit or shut down conversation. You'll never hear anyone in mainstream talk about how MLK was a deviant according to declassified papers in 2017. Because that's not the official narrative.

Shutting them up will not change their minds. Instead, it will drive them elsewhere where you can't reach them and galvanize them in their opposition to you.

Did that even make sense to you? It's also not the claim you were making the rest of the thread. What happened to the mods somehow having a responsibility to "prevent the shooting"?

>-we have no archive, so that telling of events is unprovable

Well that's no problem friend, because I was there. So you can take for granted that it is true. And it will be completely unsurprising to anyone who has spent years on this website (which we both know excludes you) that it's true, because it's the way /pol/ reacts to all actions that are taken in their name, especially violent ones. Anyone who has spent time on /pol/ in the past (which, again, excludes you) has seen people prepose violence, or even merely the subtle threat of violence through something like an armed protest, and get called a shill or a fed by everybody else.

>-that was not given as evidence in Congress, so it's irrelevant

No, Anon, what's irrelevant is this point

What makes you think they're hiding in the deep web?

>the police has tools for that

Since you failed my last challenge so badly, here's a new one: can you make a post where at least one thing you say is not literal propaganda?

>Dude, we are talking about unloading M-16's into brown people.

No, we aren't. You know full well we aren't. What we are talking about is the steady advance of the Jews in power in the goal of enforcing their control by suppressing anything that defies them. The real reason why (((they))) shut down 8chan was not simply to get rid of /pol/; it was to get rid of /pol/, and to get rid of /liberty/, and to get rid of /christian/; it was to take away the ability of those who already defy them to express their views, and to take away spaces for anyone to defy them. This was the advance of the totalitarian culture of death to tread underfoot anyone who does not submit and conform to their will for our societies, nothing more. Even if you had a point about /pol/ it would not matter, because the site going down was not just a normal occurrence in a normal world, it was a battle in an international culture war. The only question that remains for any of us is "whose side are you on". It's very clear which side you are on.

>Cut the "this is the USSR again" crap.

Hey, remember in literally the last post you made before this when you said "The left is becoming stalinistic indeed"? I remember, but I can see why you'd forget seeing as this was clearly just something you said before trying to undermine it because you understood if you came right out and directly contradicted that claim from the start that nobody here would take you seriously. Isn't weird that you're telling us there is no totalitarian leftist establishment in the same series of posts where you're trying to convince us to support the totalitarian leftist establishment's efforts to suppress dissent against itself?

I looked at every post your ID has made in this thread. Each one has been about this topic, and each one has been nothing but propaganda for the official narrative trying to get us to harm ourselves by helping the establishment censor other dissenters against it. Why are you even here? I doubt some redditer or something would come to this board specifically to pretend to be a regular and shill for the culture of death to those 8chan bigots. It's obvious to me why you're here, but I'm sure you'll jump all over me for pointing it out. Not that I care. You're here because you're being paid to do this. I would not have openly accused you of it until you made it so obvious with this post. We've known that paid shills are a thing for a long time, and at times they have been so inept as to accidentally out themselves. For example, remember that time when the very shooting we're talking about happened and a small minority of posters in the thread were defending the killing and advocating for more, and the FBI released documents relating to an investigation of "domestic terrorism" on 8chan, and included a printed out screencap of one of the posts, and it included that slanted (You) next to word Anonymous? >You aren't very bright, are you?

I already mentioned "the jews are out to get us" as your driving argument both before and after the post, so trying to invoke it as some prediction or strategy expose means nothing.

>Did that even make sense to you? It's also not the claim you were making the rest of the thread. What happened to the mods somehow having a responsibility to "prevent the shooting"?

It's part of the argument.

Taking down the thread, and banhammering anything that promotes violence both limits any sort of podium for the shooters, helps prevent future incidents, and would make for a great legal and PR disclaimer.

>anyone who has spent years on this website (which we both know excludes you

I've been here almost since the board got started, before flags were even a suggestion, when we had a poll to determine our patron saint(it's St. Augustine of Hippo, but it's somewhat debated, since the orthodox don't have him in their saint list), when we made selections of theological writings to be turned into torrents and infographics.

If you don't believe me, you can ask around.

There was also a catholic that spammed non-stop about the Fall of Constantinople.

Good place, until it increasingly got ruined by you spamming your cancerous obsession with blacks and jews everywhere(and you say the woke crowd is annoying for plastering their garbage into every discussion).

>Well that's no problem friend, because I was there. So you can take for granted that it is true.

Ah, well that settles it.

Now, if you have some actual proof, that would be lovely.

>You know full well you are lying right now, everything that has been said so far has demonstrated you are lying right now, but we will get to that down below.

Uuu, spooky.

>What makes you think they're hiding in the deep web?

Oh, they are adept at making nests in dark corners of various social sites, but that comes with the circumstances, too.

>What we are talking about is the steady advance of the Jews in power in the goal of enforcing their control by suppressing anything that defies them. >The only question that remains for any of us is "whose side are you on". It's very clear which side you are on.

Ah, yes, who can forget the good old "if you aren't with my failed murderous ideology, you are with theirs".

Who's side im on?

Hmm, i think im with the side that's against dragging society into non-stop autistic identity politics with retarded paranoia, identical racial hierarchies(seriously, if they replaced rich straight old white men, with rich straight old jewish men, you'd be decent buddies with the SJW crowd), acting like you are the victim and opressed, even when you are undisputably in control of discourse in a place, accusations of treason for going against the narrative, going on how only they can prevent the (fascist white supremacist imperialists/jewish commies) that are supposedly behind every rock from completely taking over, and s—ty hairstyles.

So, the far-right and the stalinistic left.

Not that it's surprising.

The only remaining terrorist orgs nowadays are commie psychos, far-right thugs, salafi scum, and ethnic separatists.

Ah, ok.

Expected you to say im a jew or something(or if you are feeling especially kinky, both a jew and a gov agent, a la JIDF).

Always love that bulls—.

The explanation is simpler.

The meta thread is the second one that pops up when you load /christian/.

And it updates slowly, so easier to see what comes up.

Now, /pol/ have been trying to whitewash their role in the shootings ever since the site came back on, with the same script every time.

You didn't say anything for the first 2-3 months, since you knew it'd be obvious bulls— that no one would believe.

But now that events are starting to fade a bit, you are starting to to push the narrative that you are the real victims here, so of course i slam those lies.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that /pol/ isn't a disgusting dumpster of a board. I won't even argue that it doesn't deserve to be shut down for its insanity and massive base of users that don't even understand the meaning of "logical fallacy".

But if you're going to tell me the reason it should be shut down is:

>Someone did a crime and talked about it in this place before doing it, so therefore we should shut down the place they posted to

Then I'm absolutely going to call you stupid, you can't hold someone or something responsible for the actions of another.

Could the mods have responded faster? Probably. Should there have been more mods to keep and eye on the board? Most likely. But unless you're an absolute master of psychology I doubt even you could easily discern the manifesto of a psychotic killer from an edgy teenager from /b/.

Despite the general goals of most people on /pol/ being different from the goal of the website as a whole, the main purpose of the site is still freedom of speech. And if you're going to aim for absolute freedom of speech (within the law) you're still going to have to give a lot of people the benefit of the doubt at times when they post edgy/tasteless comments until it can be shown that there is actual criminal activity.

Most of the Trad Catholics trace their origin back to the Society of Pope Pius X (SSPX) and splinter off from there. With an unquestionably true Pope they would all be united.

So, I propose a flag to distinguish the Trad Catholics (Latin Mass and pre-Vatican 2 teachings) from the Novus Ordo.

As the purpose of the flag is to explain what one's position is based on the poster's core beliefs, and Novus ordo and Trad Catholics have different beliefs I think a flag would be in order to show the difference.

Examples of different beliefs are that the Trad Catholics, per the old Papal Encyclicals, believe in the Government's power of Capital punishment if it is done justly. Per new Papal Encyclicals, the Government does not. Trad Catholics believe that the Roman Catholic Church is the One True Church because of the Papal Encyclicals. Novus Ordo believe that the Roman Catholic Church is ONE OF the true Churches.

BTW, only the SSPV are "sedes". Not all Trad Catholics are sedes.

I think the flags help as long as you don't include things that overtly deny God such as (short list of examples) SDA/LDS/JW/gnostic or things like that, because at that point you are basically giving them a foothold to start on their lies against the Holy Trinity.

There is no ideal solution here, of course. I would prefer just leaving it so that the people who are clearly wrong about certain things can be more easily identified by the more discerning. I can see the argument for removing them entirely and that might be more fitting if we didn't include stuff like catholics in here.

Now if we do keep them and not add any of the above flags then what about the others people have suggested. I don't see the point in adding extra catholic flags because it would only increase arguments on the subject as a whole. In an ideal world, it wouldn't be necessary to have a separate baptist flag. Christianity would continue to be represented only by baptists and nobody else would interpose themselves as they have been. But the simple fact is these denominations that have created factions over time sadly have attempted to subdivide the world between their various popes, so we use that as ways to identify them. I would rather that the Christian flag would represent churches like mine only. At a higher level still, flags are just flags and a person isn't saved by what group they are part of but judged only on their individual life and whether they are saved.

Hey you know what, as long as they aren't cutting off people's heads for believing the truth that is a good start. Even better when they will concede that it is nothing but an oral tradition that is manmade, not to be found within the pages of any Scripture. Having established that, let's not continue this into a whole big argument in the meta page, I just have a conviction today that the truth, the Christian truth, needs to be said at this place and time. And that's all I've got to say on this.

>>846791

>And if you don't partake of the Body of Christ because you believe it is just a cracker

I've never even been to a ritual where people worship bread and crackers before, and I don't plan to ever go. That would be giving a possible occasion for a brother in Christ to stumble in sin.

>adoration, but not worship.

Same thing.

>please explain how you got "satanic" out of worshiping the actual body and blood of Christ Our Lord and Our God?

Simple. And I'm not going to be led to repeat myself over and over again so please read. You can't point to any paragraph or sentence in any part of the Holy Scripture where these things are so. Rather, a vile fiend at some later point came up with the idea of getting people to worship inanimate objects by wresting the Scripture away from its true meaning. They took a true statement about our Lord and turned it into a muddled, confused unknown god. Hence, the judgment against these is that they will continue in their idolatry until they are ready to hear the word of our Lord Jesus Christ. Idolators still have a means to repent, by hearing the word of our great Lord, but in order to turn to the Lord God, one must also turn away from idols. It's not too late as long as you are able to hear his message. As the Son of the Highest himself said: "he that has ears to hear, let him hear."

It's now the acceptable and appointed time to turn from idols to the living God. As the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians

> 8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

> 9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

> 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Acts 26:

> 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

> 19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

> 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Let him that has ears to hear, let them hear.

>And if you don't partake of the Body of Christ

As defined where. In John chapter 6 there is no mention of this there. It is defined in the passages dealing with the Lord's supper, so you should reference those.

>because you believe it is just a cracker,

This is what the idolators believe, as I've explained already. It is not what I believe. They have a false god (2 Cor. 11:4) that they believe inhabits bread and crackers. It isn't a happy thing to even have to mention this, because the judgment of the sin of idolatry is such a poignant judgment.

>then you cannot enter heaven as the Lord said in John 6:53-54

See John 6:63. Totally different passage of scripture from the Lord's Supper.

That's all I have to say regarding this. And in advance, I'm already going to point out that Christ also says that He is the Door and the Vine. If there is another false belief system with its own pope somewhere out there that has a "magical" door or vine that they believe their false god inhabits, I will consider them to be in the same category. Now is the acceptable time to repent of false idols, which can neither speak nor hear nor talk, and turn to the living and true God. He is alive and can talk, my friend.

It's not just Jews, there are Goys in power as well, Gorge bush worked to turn 911 into a global ritual, and hes not a Jew. Sure, the Jews are their own group, but there are many satanic groups working along side them. I'm not saying they're good or something, only that it's a variety of elites working against Christians. The Jews also worship the devil.

Yeah, I agree with this. I haven't been to /christian/ ever since the purge of the old board. Coming back, few things that stand out:

1. The custom CSS format. Just make it as plain as day. Christ is our focus.

2. The "Disclaimer" at the bottom of every post. Although I don't think you can do anything about this.

3. The warning in your meta post about considering using a Tor browser. Even this message scared me away and using Tor browser is not feasible and will only attract spammers and griefers.

If we are true to Christ's commandments, we have nothing to fear or hide. Even if the glowies were to catch us, what would we say other than boldly proclaim the name of Christ? When I used to peruse this board way back when, this was the only board that I posted and surfed, I ignored all the other boards. Going to this board was a useful compromise between being addicted to halfchan and being completely disconnected from the internet.

Not strictly true. There's actually no consensus in Judaism as to what the afterlife is. Some believe that the dead sleep until the arrival of the Messiah. Some believe in a Hades-like afterlife that everyone goes to no matter what. And some do, in fact, believe in something like Hell.

This site's in bad shape, and it's getting worse. It's pretty much a qboomer site now, with few other posters. Besides the q stuff, this board is one of the few relevant ones left. The original 8chan crowd has now almost entirely left, so why don't we leave with them? We could make a new board on 8chan.moe. I think that would help with activity, and we'd be rid of the technical issues that make this place almost un-usable at times. I'm interested in hearing what you think. Board owner, if you want, you can be in charge of a new home on 8chan.

There's already a /Christian/ board on that site, but it's not very active and I can't vouch for its quality. To be honest, for all its problems, I've been using this board off and on for years, and I kinda like it here, faults and all. Plus, it'd be difficult to convince others to move to a new site unless something drastic happens like the moot migration from a few years ago.

Of course, the reason so many people stopped coming here was because this site went down. I didn't even know for about a year that it was back under a different domain. I imagine I wasn't the only one.

Honestly, they were good until that one guy allowed ownership to lapse and then someone else snagged it away. Whoever that was, statedly and intentionally allowed the once-popular board be policed by cronies. He didn't allow board logs to be opened and rewrote the old rules to be as vague as possible and therefore easy to use to ban any post disfavored by the specific handpicked mod, leading to abuses and traffic going down by more than half due to how many people were permabanned w/ no reasons given. They deleted posts to hide their evidence. The guy who ran it also eventually deleted flags simply because he didn't like them, not based on a poll or anything like that. I believe he stated that he accomplished his mission of killing the board and didn't want to take ownership here.

The amount of trolling has always been relative to the amount of total traffic, regardless of these policies.

The disclaimer is the least of the problems. 8kun is filled with boards of degeneracy. Not only that, it would be better to only have one board instead of being scattered accross three boards.

The majority of the boards over there are sfw which is a good thing compared to 8kun. I wonder why sfw anons won’t move to better boards and let this website act as a containment facility for the reprobates of /pnd/, /random/, and the rest of the nsfw boards.
