About the thread, I remember an anon somewhere mentioning that it's a little known fact that there is an internet-wide "summer slump" in terms of traffic, because everyone starts either going outside, or just feeling too hot and lazy to go on the computer.

It seems 8ch is not immune to this phenomenon, especially boards that are fairly low on posters to begin with. It should start to pick up again as summer comes to close however.

In the meantime, perhaps we should consider advertising the board some more.

I really enjoy Summer personally, Autumn and Winter are when I usually get my worst depression. We never did anything for Halloween here, it was always that day where I wasn't allowed to dress up or go out, and the next day I'd have to listen to or read about all the fun things that everyone else had done together. It only got worse as I got older and fell into depression, so all I associate with the occasion now is being alone and miserable.

Christmas is alright, I usually spend the morning and noon at my mum's opening presents and then having dinner, then my dad picks me up and we go to my grandparent's house and open more presents. Usually a mix of comfy and awkward, due to having to be around lots of relatives that have spent decades together, but I don't really know any of them. I usually go upstairs on the computer out of the way as soon as I can.

My mum and her boyfriend always go out drinking and stuff on New Year's Eve, sometimes even going away for a few days, so I'm always sat at home alone in silence being reminded that another year has gone by and nothing has changed.

Its not too bad really, although pathfinder is a bit more complicated than World of Darkness, which I'm used to, as there's a lot going on with modifiers on the character sheets. You also need to keep a bunch of info on hand for monsters, NPC's and stuff, which could get annoying, especially as Im reading from PDF's.

Getting read up on the rules and then I'm gunna do a bit of worldbuilding, then plan out some plot. Maybe I'll actually get to play this one day, one of the people I talk to about RPG's is only 45 minutes away
