I can't do this , I finally got a job after countless months , almost a year of seaching. I knew something was up but I still went along with it anyway.
I just hate it, everything about the place makes be feel horrible. The enviroment around you , there isnt any laughing or banter, everything is serious and half the people there are forgien , I can't fucking do this. Just got back from my week-long family holiday in Weymouth. It was really nice, even without any internet connection.
Did a shit load of walking most days, even after getting really bad sunburn on my arms and legs at the beach on Monday. I didn't put any sun cream on at all, I completely forgot that was a thing you need to do if you go outside on sunny summer days. Just around the local streets and back, I usually take a different route each time. There's a lake that's not far from here that I've been able to get to recently, so my current goal is to eventually walk all the way around it and back without dying.

My first lesson I wanted to drive fast and was confident. Pretty much the same situation here, all my GCSEs are in the E - C range and I didn't do A levels either.
The only education-related thing I ever did well in was my BTEC national diploma in music technology which was mostly practical work and I'd already taught myself how to do it all in my own time while I was still in school. The only reason I didn't get a distinction overall is because I fucked up every single part that involved things like writing, researching, organisation and group work. In fact I nearly didn't get on the course at all because I didn't have a C level English GCSE which was one of the requirements, but they kept quiet about it because they were really impressed with the stuff I had been making at home.

I'm off to bed, once I've cleared everything off it anyway. Lots of audio gear everywhere because I thought I'd set my old mic up to ease myself into being able to talk while streaming, but I couldn't get myself to speak into it even when I was alone in the house and not streaming/recording at all. I just freeze up and choke if I try to speak, like I'm temporarily mute or something.
I've learned through recent experience that exposure is the best way to overcome social anxiety, as I've done with being able to post on anonymous imageboards and walk around outside, but I'm at a loss for where to start with "being unable to talk". I don't think going to therapy for it will work, because I've had two therapists before and each time I was only able to produce monotonous single-word responses whilst frozen stiff and staring at the floor.
Anyway, I can barely keep my eyes open right now, I'll look into it more tomorrow. Goodnight guys.

That's sad to hear, I had a fat ps2 that stopped reading discs (and started destroying them) around the time the slim one came out, so I got one of those to replace it and left the other one at my dads. They've been clearing the loft out this year so I was reunited with it, and I've "revived" it by getting the network adapter and putting a 320GB hard drive in it to run games off of.
I did of course have to use my slim PS2, a SwapMagic disc, and a memory stick to install FMCB Free Memory Card Boot - let's you run homebrew software like ESR which can play "backup" discs to the memory cards in the first place though. I believe it can be installed using a USB memory card adapter for PC, and there's probably places you can buy memory cards with it preinstalled, but I haven't done either of these myself.
