I am back from visiting my mother. It went about as expected.
She admitted she no longer takes her anti-psychotics. "My Doctor took me off them" she lied. "He said I never needed them because there is nothing wrong with me". Lies lies lies.
Then she got all angry at me for not believing her about all her delusions. She pulled her fridge out of its alcove, got a torch and made me crawl behind the fridge to see a mark on the wall where she said someone had been cutting through the wall to spy on her.
I tried my best to convince her getting back on the medication would help her feel better - help her sleep - but she just got angry.
She feels static all over her skin and is convinced someone is doing it to her. She has a baseball bat next to her bed when she goes to sleep.
I don't know what to do. She is right back where she was before she got detained under the mental health act last year. I doubt we could get her detained again. You have to be a danger to yourself or others.

Its the same with my dad. Diabetic, fat as fuck, high pressure, etc… He was not a bad father, at least in the respect of providing food for our family. But other than that i've seen him in the worst states a person can be. I've seen him moan and scream after he forgot to take his diabetes medicine (yeah, he forgot to take what's keeping him alive) i had to be there for 2 and what i got from it was the desire for him to die once and for all.
2 weeks ago i had to call the police to get him off the flor (and he was naked to).
I have cut pretty much every tie i had with him. I only go with him if he needs to be checked up by a doctor or if he needs some paperwork. Other than that i can't even look him at his eyes. No child should see their parents give up on everything.
I'll keep you on my mind. And i'll wish you can have some peace of mind. Take care, neet.
