I have it in my mind that we can get used to pretty much anything, once something becomes routine it is 'easy' and it only takes a couple weeks for anything to become routine.
People have asked me how I managed to be a recluse like I was and I think it's because it became my routine, just like wageing now. Working sucks but I am used to it now and that makes doing it easy and there is little anxiety with actually going, there still is a lot with certain tasks but the general deal of going is easy.
You can do anything you want within reason and after doing it continually for a couple weeks you will be fine. You just need to keep doing it.

I reckon if I got a good nightshift gig 2-3 nights a week or a job that is Saturdays/Sundays for over time and one week day that would be bearable and the best lifestyle. Decent amount of cash (Still probably below average) but 4-5 days off a week would be perfect yet not allow me the comfort to go full unemployed degen.
If I could only find a job like that which wasn't shelf stacking, shitty hospitality or security.

I think you are right. You just need to fight through the initial rebellion of your brain when you try and do something outside your comfort zone and eventually your brain will get bored of trying to stop you and will just accept whatever you are doing as the new normal.
That being said, I posted on the NEET General for over a year before it suddenly became hard for me. I think what changed was it stopped being an anonymous forum so much. I felt safe behind anonymity but when I began putting myself out there and developing a semi homoerotic friendship things got tricky for me and my brain made me get a bit unstable.
