I agree with the notion that things become easier after a few weeks. I'd never really applied myself to achieving things and had basically come to accept mediocrity and just scraping by in every facet of my life. The problem was every time I attempted a real go at self-improvement I always planned too much in too short a time. I wanted to go 0-100 in a few days and would always fail and be worse off.

I realised that I needed to make small gains to build my own self-esteem in my ability. Started off with brushing my teeth because I often forgot or was simply to lazy to do even such a simple task as that. Then I built on it from there.

Cheesy here, how has everyone been? I've been going through a lot mentally the past few weeks, and I have hurt some people close to me with my mental health problems. I am taking a break from any IRL social interaction to sort my head out. I'll try and keep up with my job even though that partially conflicts with what I just mentioned, but no as much because there is far less emotional attachment. I still don't have my license yet, but I hope to by the end of the year.

I haven't been posting for a while because I haven't had the energy for anything beyond the bare minimum to get through my life. I'm going to start making videos again to clear my mind, I think it will do a lot mentally for me as well.

Gotta say NEETs its been a surprising first week of Soctober. Didn't fully believe I could do it and that all it would take is one bad day to throw in the cards and head to the temple.

I've found sobriety has been keeping me focused on what I really need to do most. I'm not guilty about wasting time and I'm a lot more productive. During the week I felt like a machine, ticking heaps of shit off my list, one after the other, all day, each day. I had little down time to relax whereas before I'd make that time whether I had things to do or not. Before if I ran out of shit to do I'd just wait for something to come up but now I'm actively creating new goals and tasks to fill in the blanks. First I was a little annoyed that I had no 'fun time' but I quickly quelled that thought and realised its just wasted time. Don't want to burn out or anything but theres still a lot of time to be made up.

Far less anxious this week. Finally feels like I'm living life without the fuel low sign on and rushing around just waiting to catch a break or something, which I realised is gay self-destructive shit that only lazy fags do. Thats a bit preachy but fuck it. All my previous attempts at self-improvement have more or less failed but this feels like its finally sticking.

Spent about $50 on food this week, only treating myself to a bag of doritos and a chocolate bar. Burned through just over $50 of fuel, $17 on medical stuff and $150 on a new chair which I needed and a mousepad. Much greater savings compared to pre-Soctober budgeting. It's good to reflect on the week I suppose. You might even say I'm excited to tackle the next one and keep moving forward in life. The start really is the hardest part it seems.

The main things about nabtrade

The high interest account is really good, and just having the nabtrade sitting there is good. All my savings are in there, and its getting a bit of interest and i can use it for shares or in an emergency. I could right now transfer the $4K from my high interest to nabtrade account to regular nab account and go to woolies and get it in my hands.
