Ghost in the Shell 2 seems to borrow heavily from the Wachowski's Matrix Trilogy (it was made in 2004, just after the Matrix movies). This is fair, given that the Wachowskis stole from the first Ghost in the Shell movie (which dates back to 1995)
The movie is uses lots of cgi, far more than I like to see in anime, although it's appropriate in a movie where the central theme is how computers have become a layer of fakeness between humans and reality.
Speaking of cgi, there's a parade scene in movie that's worth watching just for itself

I have been doing more cleaning of my house today. I tried to remove my old stove to make way for the new one but I couldn't disconnect the gas line. I will have to wait and let the plumber do it which annoys me because he will see how FILTHY the floor and walls where the stove is are. There is nothing I can do to clean them because the stove can't move very much since it is connected to the gas pipe.
