In my 30's, been into diapers since high school. Diapers can be girl repellent to a good chunk of the population and I'm nowhere near a "10" physically.

Career got ruined when I nearly was killed in an accident (not my fault without question). Smart, but couldn't function. Rebuilding my body took years. Living with parents, as an ABDL adult. Not suicidal, but depressing for sure.

Nobody knew my kinks in high school, but I was the affluent geek that knew kink. A girl and I were basically the sexperts on campus that people asked stuff about. We knew each other, and it was very much a topic of banter on campus.

She married a brutish jerk who abused the shit out of her. I meanwhile descended into pain hell of a different kind.

Last year she divorced, and I finally stopped chain popping opioids. "Magically" I'm pulling in six figures again. Reached out to her, and told her I was into diapers. Her jaw hit the floor - having narrowly missed slapping my diapered butt in high school.

She's moving in with me in a couple weeks, and she's already lovingly footjob'ed me through diapers and is happy to breastfeed daily.

The "don't fuck this up" drive is a very good motivator. I know what I have now.

So this is more a fantasy angle.

A Middle is a little bit less childish, is into more rough games, more teenager stuff, may be high school musical or Disney series that dont necessarily involve cartoons.

For example I spent last saturday at home, setting everything up to have baby time but while looking for something childish to watch I came across the "Descendants" movies that tell the story of the children of the villains from Disney movies, it was fun to watch with a definite more teenager-like target audience. I still consider myself more in the 2-5 range for play but I like to watch more grown up stuff from time to time like trying to pretend that I am big but still dressed and surrounded by baby toys, its those immersive games/ experiences that I play with myself to enjoy this side of me more I guess.

If you are set on the age that you enjoy, 10-13, because you feel like shows, fashion, games and may be some action figures are what you enjoy the most then it does sound like you are more in the "Middle". So you could definitely be a Middle with a diaper fixation, may be you were not properly potty trained? You should probably try to comprehend what is it that you find alluring about diapers. Question: What are people’s thoughts on wearing in public? Do you think it’s appropriate/acceptable to do so?

My girlfriend and I have recently started incorporating ABDL scenes more in the bedroom, which has been amazing. Right now her main limit is wearing in public. She claims being covertly diapered around others (assuming it is done for primarily sexual purposes) would serve to violate those exposed’s right to consent, even if they never are made explicitly aware of the scenario occurring. She even equated the practice to that of a person covertly masturbating on the subway, which I personally think is a stretch.

I struggle with this though because my belief has always been that wearing in public is fine as long as no one knows about it. But I’m also wondering if I should just accept this as a limit of hers and leave it be, given the other ground we’ve covered with this fetish already. That said, I’m sure there are 24/7 wearers out there who would fundamentally disagree so I’m wondering if there are any ways that people have worked through this question, either with a partner or on their own.

Note: Of course, should a person need to wear diapers for strictly or even primarily incontinence related reasons, this particular argument would not apply.
