It feels like the weakest Trigger show in quite some time but that still puts it above most anime, though it may possibly be their cheapest production yet.

Even better than season 1 on account of the better spread of time between character and fewer scenes without Jashin. Sadly, it was a shorter season with only episodes 2-10 being proper "episodes". Episode 1 was meta introductory stuff and episode 11 was a crowdfunded (but kino) song.

Gleipnir and Gal and Dino seem to be the only ones worth watching this season for me.I might give BNA a cursory watch, though I get the distinct impression that it'll rush itself to reach the plot beats it wants or leave itself unfinished for a second season/cour.
Then again I might just finish LOGH as I left it halfway through.

Nyetflix cash and the fact that they bothered introducing anything close to a plot halfway through and I doubt they have payed for 24 episodes up front, even with Trigger's prestige behind it.
A pattern can always break, especially when working under double the unusual circumstances. Who's to say this disease hasn't fucked up any major plans for the next batch for 6/last few episodes, forcing them to downscale?

Finished binge watching Drop Kick My Devil
Nothing else this season interests me so I'll be catching up on my backlog
My choices now are to either begin Slayers, Turn A, Gundam X, Konosuba (2nd season), or start Log Horizon
I've been putting off Slayers for a long ass time, I heard the Konosuba movie was "good" so if I watch the 2nd season then the movie I can cross off another anime from my backlog, I've been meaning to watch another Gundam and can't decided between the two, I read that Log Horizon was getting a 3rd season after its long break so if I start the first season now I'll be ready to join discussions with other anons by the time season 3 comes out, I'm truly in a pickle

Exactly what it was lacking I feel.
S.1 opening well exemplified how they were in love but at war with each other in a James Bond like style and that song was an excellent fit.
S. 2 opener more so seems to exemplify their status differences, doesn't feel as symmetric, and no James Bond vibes.
