Since this looks to be a Dragon Ball thread, it seems that the Harmony Gold dub of the first episode of Dragon Ball was unearthed and put up on archive.org after being thought lost for many decades. Pretty interesting that old stuff can still be uncovered after so many years like how Starcraft Ghost was leaked. I kind of hope that Jojo's Phantom Blood movie gets leaked someday.

I like Moro. He's a villain that gets around the constant power-ups by using magic. He's also like a competent Buu, that is still able to reason and think ahead. He isn't short-sighted like Frieza, as he showed when he saved his henchman. As for Goku, I really did like his entrance, and it looks like Ultra Instinct is coming back. Krillin being the one to lead him home was a nice touch. As for Vegeta, it looks like he's going to get around the magic drain by just being really efficient with his ki. As for the future of Super, I think the last chapter hinted at the possibility of a rogue angel.

The manga is coming out every month. It's actually been pretty neat. The anime is over, and I don't see a new season coming out until the current arc is over. As for Jiren's defeat, he was just knocked out of bounds. I'd say Moro is weaker than Jiren, but Moro can use magic to weaken his foes, and even the playing field.

Gohan taking over after Goku died would have been nice. If you wanted a Gohan that isn't whiny, then that would be Future Gohan. Unfortunately, he never got proper ssj training, and he lost his arm while protecting Trunks.

I'm not in the loop about this arc's production, is Toriyama doing napkin drawings for these chapters too? Even if he still is, Toyotaro being able to stretch his legs on an arc has lead to a pretty good result.

You think Chi-chi lives in fear of the fact that she and Goku are no longer married by legality due to him dying, because she knows that if he ever leaves she could never hope to do better? I also have no idea if Bulma ever did marry Vegeta officially, but she's rich and has fiananced/assisted the z-fighters since day 1, so there's leverage on that relationship because she's more or less important.

I often think of what Goku would be like if Roshi went out of his way to impart his FULL wisdom upon him- as in, Goku going out of his way to target the weaknesses of the opposite sex during combat- as a completly almost chauvanistic ammoral asshole who pat-pat's anyone unfortunate enough to try him in combat, like- no bars holded, at some point, he'll aim for your genitals and be completely innocent about it as if it were a natural thing to do because he figures if you're going to give in/lose a fight in THAT way, then you're an easy target/potential waste of time- Infact, the lifestyle of an unapologetic promiscous saiyan is essentially ideal, given the love of combat, challenges, and women that want to beat the shit out of them/can't get enough- they'd see it as a feedback loop because bitches getting cucked either makes them more desirable based on their reaction, or just another dime-a dozen ho' to work off some steam on/use as a warmup- and due to saiyans being like what, literal master morality opposites of humanity, it's unlikely human females could ever hope to look elsewhere. Meanwhile, that leaves them to actually seek out potential mates that actually fight back/attempt to pin them down with more reasons to stay monogamous- due to potential non-gohan tier offspring/goten tier.

Then there's the idea that if goku ever got it into his head that he hasn't done it in various saiyan forms/free sparring partners with hidden fighting potential, he might not be able to resist such allures, the prospect of "You MEAN I CAN MAKE PEOPLE STRONGER TO FIGHT?" is something that could begin a hilarious dark spiral.

Off the topic of Saiyan breeding habits/eugenics that note, there's also the shafted fact that at each death, Piccolo could've just done what his 'dad' did each time to make himself a family/series of backups to use the absorption technique on to increase his power with each subsequent death- or you know, perfect cell, thanks to the infinite saiyan powerdeath loop. There's also the potential of dicussing a Biomechanical Android build using LGSS genes- instead of regular saiyan ones, to ensure a permanently rising powerlevel, a body to handle and maintain it and the death/rebirth powercyle all in one.

One of the big unbeatables that would add nuance/risk factors in combat are magic- because some of the techniques/chinese-ass asian mythology ki-techniques like the Mafuba are broken and applicable to any level of opponent one may face- for example, give an android Guldo's timestop, and congratulations, you got someone as broken as Whis- (probably) (Infinte lungs = infinite timestop with that shit, powerlevels, Ki, goes out the window, an opponent can pose a threat at any given time, and their only 'weakness' of sorts is their own durability- and this is something I found to be a Plus of Majin Buu's moveset, because he had his "Ah fuck it, eatem" move- People also forget that Mr.Popo could catch SSJ1 goten's strikes at one point, or even eat a Kamehea.

One of the biggest gripes I have is about Tien getting shafted, but worse-off that he NEVER got his rematch he promised with Goku- meanwhile Krillin achived all of his goals he mentioned on his day on DB introduction when he met goku- Re-read it, maybe make a Krillin montage of all the shit he went through past that introduction to get his hot AF wife or the Humans keeping up despite fucking dragonballs/further hidden potential/ all that magic/powerup crap up for grabs if they just followed in Goku's footsteps- On the topic of Goku and his BS, the fucker is technially gonna be always stronger than Veggyboy- because if we follow all the shit he got on his adventures- he's technically buffed to shit- and he's got Kaio-Ken which is a fucking optimizer he can stack on his innate racial transformations- meaning he can- at any point, get the best out of any single form- yet for plot convienience Vegeta was somehow his better- with the only backing to that being Saiyan elite + the grav habitat- opposed to Goku's Kaio-ken- the potions he's chugged for strength, Kami-training powerups, and whatever else he aquired over the years- so the only way that was balanced is in the event that there's a theoretical goku that if he never took those steps to get stronger would be even weaker than Vegeta from their first meeting.

This would however explain the super Saiyan god crap- Vegeta was blowing up planets, Goku was chilling with a Devil, drinking from the fountain of power, youth, and riding on magic carpets- He was knee-deep in spiritual magicBS crap his entire life, and Vegeta probably missed out on a fuckton of shit from each world he decimated. Vegeta- meanwhile, bashes his head against the wall until reality takes pity on him and uplifts him for balancing reasons- hell the Freiza saga was literally nothing but that little trolldoll abusing his race-power boosts to keep up with everyone- like a Suicidal Saiyan version of a dopamine addicted coomer "OOOO FUUUUUCK I'M DYIIIINGGG I'M GONNA GET STROOONNGGGEEEER"

On the topic of Dragonballs- shit really needs to get back on track- GT had the right Idea with the black star balls- you don't have realityediting wish granting devices summoning an all-powerful physical manifestation of a clay model empowered by some green-dude overseer/dude with the position and never explain how they recharge their energies, how that shit was discovered, where they come & go- is there some sort of Dragon-dimension- and how the fuck is it that these things are made and mandated by individuals who are utter combative weaklings- Like imagine if the Dragon's were like, cosmic horrors bound in thoe forms, or a place they reside where an antagonist was hoping to breach for ill-gain- or Dragonballs that instead of the usual dispersal, did something like GT, fucking off to places to obtain energy, protection, or offer some sort of power to those who wielded an individual Dragonball standaloe- maybe have them do something like their protodays where they worked as literal pokeballs for some dragon or some shit. Fuck- I want to know what the previous Kami of Earth was like- maybe a saga around him and his mystical bullshit- I'm tired as fuck of all-powerful wankers that turn out to be jokes like King Kai- fucking give them some actual power to match the authority/influence instead of convinient mentors handing out treats to Z-fighters.

Also- one of my most hated parts of DB was the Red Ribbion army Android crap- yeah, I know Cell was a result of the editor pulling a Muriel from courage with each design he had to shit out to satisfy him, but fuck me- It should've been a return of all the old RR generals as androids- could you imagine a Psychokinetic Android General blue? Imagine an android saga with RR subsuming control in a way not unlike that of Germany- using a slander campaign/informing earth of Z-fighter shenanagins/passing of power to the army and it's android project, hunting Z-fighters and their allies as the Z-fighters fight the army, leading to some Akira-esque Goku V Gero fight, (Gero beefs up Super 16 style as an angry embittered old man with wires sticking out of him with some side stuff with the prospects of people being kidnapped to become androids being a subplot, or moving on to making earth a similar power to what Freiza's empire was like through introduction of Ki-fighting to the mainstream- more of a revenge/way of life changer deal and goku wants to do is be left to his own devices/keep his friends safe, so he goes to solo the army like he did originally, taking on the generals, then the other androids, before he enters a survival situation with a newly awakened immature cell in the ruins of the RR-base, which follows on to a similar cell saga- but with some of that nuance he has in DB vidya, where it seems Cell is ruled more by the circumstances of his creation rather than his own will, wanting to fulfill Gero's wishes, but is also plagued by the desires and hormones of his various donor genes- leading to the whole, blow the planet up crap. Trunks would still be a thing, but the joking matter at hand would be not two androids- but the fullblown Red-Ribbon Army/Pseudo borderline HFY No more saiyan bullshit world at large- before cell makes people reconsider given that he'd be the next 'stage' if cyborgs were to be normalized, putting things in a grey-area.

Buu saga was alright. But a big issue with gohan, leading up to benching was the fact that he didn't elect a better comedic element his father offered because Gohan was essentially a human-saiyan- there should've been something there to offset that, more goten inclusion comnes to mind, but the nature of buu in general and bibidi/babidi could've opened oppurtunity for a more classic DB adventure leading up to the major fights and release of Buu- such as the whole Dabura being Bibidi's minion thing- Now that the demon world got expanded upon, It would have been more prudent to have such as place as the main stage for the fights leading up to Buu's release, think about it- A wizard and a the/a devil want to release a pure being of chaos and unstoppable evil that threatens the entire universe free- that's fantasy adventure tier right there- replace that desert/Babidi's ship with 'Babidi has his ship in a pocket plane linked ot the underworld and is using Dabura's armies (including some older faces) For muscle and the Majin-dudes are instead possesed people, and you've improved the whole thing tenfold, it structures things to place Babidi and Dabura as top big-bads, allowing for Toriyama to maybe drop in some Dragonquest tier FUN in the saga as the Z-fighters work their way from the tornament, minions of hell/underworld/nuance things with Gohan going and Goten sneaking in, goten having classic goku-esque fun and Gohan doing the screaming powerlevel goku-2 stuff he was meant for- Goten vs Babidi and Dabura vs Gohan- maybe some 'restore order to hell' stuff as they progress, allowing for the vegeta vs Goku fight, Vegata caught up on never being able to fight goku, ging for gohan, but dead goku is able to interact as though he were alive in the underworld to give vegeta what-for.

And that culminates in Buu's release regardless, and Vegeta blowing himself up to attempt to stop it- still in hell/pseudohell- buu lives, but isn't getting out to mess up earth until he's carved a bloody path through mystical worlds/spirit world to bust through- I guess the old witch's house? to do the rest of the buu saga. Past the point of Son & father fusion, which I think would be better skipped, It'd be neater for something like Gohan not beiing dormant inside of buu when he got absorbed because 'ultimate form technicality' and meeting up with Goku and co to fuck up Buu's insides before the final battle, which goes Gohan- goku and vegeta with the spirit bomb I feel that Gohan should for the most part, do most of the work, with Goku fostering aditional abilities/ SSJ3 as something he's just doing because of the perks of training oppurtunies when you're dead/briging him closer to what he get's up to in a weird magical classic DB settings.

It isn't infinite. I think it was in the Goku Black arc, where it gets a cap. Goku or Vegeta mention that they stopped caring about them, because they stop getting boosts after a certain point. Zamasu was getting zenkai boosts for plot convenience, so a revived Cell could get the same treatment.

Namekians did their best to copy the super dragonballs, which is how they ended up on Namek. I don't remember if it was stated, but it makes sense to assume that Kami made a new set based on the Namekian balls when he got to Earth.

There was no need to do that. Even in DB, I can't think of one that didn't get brushed under the carpet and forgotten. Blue got destroyed in one hit by Mercenary Tao, who is still around in cyborg form. Commander Red wasn't a fighter and got killed by his own henchman.

If I didn't care for the "Z" section of the Dragon Ball series (Basically everything starting with Raditz showing up), is there really any reason to explore the spin-offs and sequels?

The further Dragon Ball as franchise goes the further we witness how disconnected to their own world are most warriors, so many years and Vegeta did not ask saiyans to be back, no one asked for their tails to be back either, so many nameks fused and all the power wasted while fusing with piccolo could have been a major advantage.
