I dropped Redline pretty hard early on. It was garbage. And very ugly. If I wanted to see ugly garbage I'd stare into OP's room or turn on the talmudvision.
Initial D is much better than Riding Bean on everything except animation, but they're not really the same genre to be compared, just "broadly anime with cars". Riding Bean does what it is extremely well, but being a dumb action movie isn't much.
Fairy Tail, One Piece, and Bleach (was decent but ruined after going down the drain) are what I describe as "it doesn't really matter how deep the pit you fall into is after a certain point". They're too trash for such comparisons to be meaningful.
Other than that I haven't watched Texhnolyze, Angels Of Death, Shiki, or Higurashi When They Cry.

you should definitely watch angels of death. the first episode feels a little rushed but it still is very good and only gets better later on. i have played angels of death (the game) and will advocate for its incredible accuracy to the original series. the only differences is the lighting is a little brighter than the game, a few lines of dialoge were added in, and it actually shows ADDITIONAL information into Isaacs backstory that was not covered in the game (it showed the same scene, but left us to our own imagination of what actually happened in the game), specifically the doll house scene.

Holy shit, talk about trash taste. Redline's biggest draw was never about the art, but rather it's the absolute smoothness of the animation. Sure, the black shading and the weird alien shit might turn people off, but the way everything moves in that film is just above standard anime flicks. It's something that have to be seen moving in motion to be appreciated. Not to mention that is has pretty good dub if you're into that kind of thing.
