Suzuki works remarkably well with injured/otherwise occupied talent, and whereas the white match was half Tana pretending he didn't have an issue with the knee, this match could setup the recovery/surgery he needs.

White/Tana was poor booking of two people with no chemistry, one who was injured and one who was debuting as a serious threat but losing. It was honestly the biggest booking error I remember NJPW doing in a few years, but I don't blame either wrestler for it.

Fale is something that is all too rare since wrestling left the carnie era - a big guy that works at a similar rate to smaller men.

Most of the time big guys reduce their effort and either go big as fuck (live Mabel) or just get into overly hardcore wrestling where they bleed like a motherfucker, take hits and fall down twice in a match (the Abdullah route). Not saying those styles can't make very entertaining wrestlers (I've enjoyed work from both of the above mentioned) but they often slack on their cardio and BREAKfall like scared children (which makes some sense when one fall could fuck them up for life if they take it wrong). Fale is a breath of fresh air for very big guys.

See I think the tongans are the most boring part of bullet club because they're just doing the shit they've been doing for the past 5 years with nothing new. It's kind of boring and stale honestly. They'll probably keep the Bullet club shirts and just pretend like nothing happened in the overall story of the faction and become a nostalgia act like GBH was.

None of them are that great of wrestlers and none of their characters are that exciting. I'm glad you like them but they just feel like filler talent to me at this point. They all need a massive character overhaul even moreso than the elite guys. At least kenny and cody took a risk with this BREAKup angle, the tongans are getting pretty stagnant. If they end up actually contributing to this angle in some way that may be the push that gets them back on track but as of right now they're losing steam badly.

i really wasnt expecting much from these shows but both main events were incredible. Better than what we got at WK i would say.

The golden lovers/bullet club split up thing has been built up so well since dominion last year that its really made me appreciate kenny as a storyteller, none of the angles done after the matches have really needed long speeches to be understood or stupid remarks about being over or whats "best for business" and yet it all means so much more.
