I want to make a ROM hack of a Gen II or III Pokémon game, new region, some new Pokémon and all that.
Does anyone here have any experience and can tell me some good ways how to get into it?

I suggest one of the Pokémon forums, they might help you out I myself wanted to make a Simpsons themed Earthbound hack several years back, but never got around to it
