Hey /vr/. My SEGA CD keeps having issues reading discs, to the point it'll manage to read one, play for a bit, then be unable to read anything until it's turned off for like 20 minutes.

Anyone know what the issue could be?

Does the Sega CD need laser calibration over time? What kind of discs are you reading? Burned discs need to be burned in a slow speed since the Sega CD only reads in 1x.

Both. Legit copy of Sonic CD reads and can be played, then hangs and disc can't be read again. Exact same with burnt. They both work fine after 20-30 mins again.
