MRW I realise that I traded in a very rare game for 1 dollar and now I have to resort to playing it on emulators because of my stupidity.
ITT: Huge mistakes that if you could travel back in time, you would slap yourself for doing something to stupid.

You could have just found a dollar in the couch or something. Even if you do think you're getting "fair value," what's the point?

I can understand doing that with cardboard Nintendo things, but Mega Drive stuff was substantial, you monster
I remember doing the same with brickboy boxes, because I had a neato carry case that could store the games, cases and manuals. I stored the boxes separately for ages, but eventually they went in a clean-up, because "they were just boxes".

I sold my gameboy/gbc game collection for $2-3 apiece and N64 games for $4 a piece to a small local gameshop to buy a GBA when they came out. One of the biggest mistakes of my life for sure. I was very young and stupid.

Was that guy high? That isn't a good business practice, to tell customers they can't have both games they intend to buy but still let them choose which one they want.

Regrets? I have some.
When I was a kid, I was a little shit that never put away games. Not even on-disc games.
This caused me to lose Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg to scratches. I never saw another copy at Funcoland and have since found higher priority games to buy, so I haven't replaced it yet.

I wish I could, but to be totally honest, I don't think I got nearly as much enjoyment out of the GBA as I did the original GB. For whatever reason, with that system, I just never heard of or played many of the greats for it - maybe it was just a money issue or something, I can't remember. I dropped handheld gaming until late last year with the New 3DS.
>>3632
That's pretty tragic. Don't wait too long - you might lose it all over again to rising prices.
For example, no matter how much I'd like to have Yellow Version back in my collection, I won't pay $20 for it, because it's just "Pokemon is EPIC and this is RETRO" faggots who are driving those prices up and I won't stand for it. I'll gladly pay what games are worth - Super Mario Sunshine was like $30 to replace after a "friend" stole it. Same case with Melee, but for $50-60? Fuck no.
