If you are referring back to the missing item/piece on the magician card question from Strange, I have been mulling that over quite a bit today.

I don't know Tarot, so this is a layman's analysis.

Wands / Batons / Clubs / Staves = Fire

Coins / Pentacles / Disks / Rings = Earth

Cups (Chalices) = Water

Swords = Air

Missing would be the 5th element. Some reference the 5th element as the Soul/Spirit (I'll add Electricity for Mordo). Others reference the 5th element as the Aether or Void.

Interesting find on the Magician. He points up with the Wand towards the Heavens and down with his other hand towards the earth. This is often viewed has the ability to bridge between heaven and earth. He also is a bit of a Wild Card (don't know how that all works), but in certain circumstances, he holds different Value/powers.

One of those circumstances is with the Fool card. In combination, they are a special circumstance wild card that Trump other Trumps. (Thank you Wikipedia)
