I watched it and didn’t like her at all. She was actually more likeable in the latest season honestly.
How was she important? She just forced herself into the show way too fucking much. And it's obvious why too, because she's a fucking loser that has nothing at all. Terrace House was her only chance to be on TV and to live in a nice house. Outside she can't keep up her lifestyle of drinking wine all day and acting like hot shit. It was pretty pathetic to watch.
