Hey, guys, I re-wrote Temple in Haskell, with (dependent) Holyskell in place of HolyC. It runs fucking great. Why? Because God is a Monad.

Briefer for plebs:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monad_(philosophy)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monad_(functional_programming)

I've been working on this for the past year, and haven't said anything about it because

1. Networking sucks and I don't give a shit what anyone has to say insofar as input about my transliteration of the word of God

2. The word of God speaks directly. And God told me exactly how and why to do this. I'd explain it, but it'd probably melt all of you to death like the ark of the covenant.

Anyway, I was trying to use Coq a year ago to generate proofs based off of Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philisophicus. At the same time, I was dicking around with Kaballah based programs using OCaml. Long story short, I ran into some type errors and then just gave them their own Satan type and then made them work - wound up writing a fork of Haskell that uses dependent types that depend on type errors, i.e. using Satans to define the functions of God. I like to call it Holy Algebra, because it seems like it shouldn't prove, but it does, in both Coq and Agda. What's great is that it's, like, confirmation that God is perfect even with the "errance" of Lucifer. And it compiles, and I fucking rewrote Temple in it. Sorry if this is Schismatic.

Anyway, here's the github link for it. Happy installing:

It's not obviously satanic just because it has a cartoon devil as its mascot.

Terry,

Why do you make an OS that is not suitable for 99.9999% population? Do you think it is suitable, or you just make it for yourself?

When God is revealed, it will be used by 99.9999% of the pupulation as His oficial Temple. I will collect Temple Tax. It will be burned into Intel chips in the factory.

Why did they make Solomon's Temple? It was a direction to look, to focus on, a
special place for meditation, to do offerings, a community center, a home to
God's beauty, that encouraged love of God. People cherished God's temple,
beautifying it with gold and all fine things to show love of God, as great
cathedrals were decorated with astounding, awe-striking intricate art and
gargoyles, incredible devotion to God with hours of effort, toiling and
slaving-away for the glory of God, for families with children to see
stained-glass windows and tomes with ridiculously elaborate calligraphy to show
love of God, from a people who did little else but show love toward God, lived
in dire conditions by today's standards, yet with so much difficulty
scraping-by, found the time to devote even all free-time to God!

We already have a ton of those.

Only Temple OS has the actually very useful HolyC, only TempleOS has sprite-in-source and anywhere, only TempleOS is both lightweight enough to compile in realtime everytime and yet not be an interpreter-based piece of Software.

TempleOS is one-of-a-kind and any programmer who isn't a poor retard raised on Windows and iOS web apps can see the benefit of such a lean and novel OS.

Yeah, so long as you don't need networking. Because it has none.

But then again, if your computer has a real serial port (or if you can add one, like with a PCI I/O card), it should be possible to code simple driver and terminal program. Think of stuff like Minicom, but also the even simpler Unix "tip" and "cu" programs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minicom

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tip_(Unix_utility)

http://man.openbsd.org/OpenBSD-current/./man1/cu.1

Otherwise, there's nothing to stop you from making any kind of program.

 No.1573

It was designed to be God's temple, not your "basic OS". It was clear when God asked for it to be 16 colors and limited resolution, which would make it unreliable to be used as a "main" OS. It was never its objective.

You don't need PPP or TCP/IP for that.

A simple serial connection would do the trick.

Only problem is mobos these days don't have serial port, they have USB instead. Might still be possible to find PCI card with those ports though, assuming your computer isn't a laptop.

Hollywood should make a bio-pic staring Daniel Day-Lewis as Terry Davis. It will be a mix between A Beautiful Mind and Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas with computers, kind of like the Steve Jobs movie only better. I think that would be a great movie.

I'm lookinng forward to the car chase scenes with the CIA chasing Terry around. Or the part when Terry finds out that there is a tracking device in his vehicle and starts tearing it apart.
