Anyone else watch the Star Wars Holiday Special around this time of year? I've been doing it as a tradition for two years now, I must say it's quite enjoyable to watch if you enjoy the zaniness and don't take anything seriously (plus it helps to wash out the taste of the New Trilogy). I think itt's kinda cool how it brought a bit of lore into Star Wars so early in it's history (Life Day, Kashyyyk etc.) although I'm sure no one figured they were going to be anything but one-off tidbits at the time.

I actually used to watch it every year and loved everything about it except that one "hologram parade" Waroo was watching. Shit always grossed me out as a kid for some reason, although I guess it has kinda grown on me. I missed out on watching it last year due to work-related bs though.
