I'm a model maker, I enjoy seeing model kits and that's one of my primary likes of the series. But I fucking hate how every single forum I go to now is just bandai star wars kits in the sci fi section. Endless constant star wars kits. And it's not even interesting stuff like Battle Droids it's the same Millenium Falcon, Storm trooper/clone trooper and X-wing/Tie fighter on loop. There's loads of cool old designs and no fucker uses them. So instead I get to see the same kits painted in a variety of poorly painted ways.

So I want everything to be Ewok adventures. It's there, some people see it, some don't and it plods along slowly. Fuck give me George of the Jungle 2 where they recast people who then spend the whole movie going "Don't you wish I was the original?" Then Star wars can die a slow painful death and lose it's entire audience and it can retreat back into books and games where the series is really good. There's no more special effects to use it as a vehicle as so as a movie franchise it's lost it's identity. Unless we get real holograms or something it doesn't need any more movies.

so first, RLM made a vid about their IX predictions. you know shit has hit the fan when mike and rich sit down and even they come up with a time travel asspull out of nowhere, so i think we're seriously going to get it. of course, i don't think it will go the way they talked about it, but there's one idea that popped into my head and i can't get over it.

kylo ren goes on a quest for ultimate power, and literally finds the death star ("this battle station is now the ultimate power in the universe") and comes into contact with the emperor, who has somehow survived, maybe inside a sith holocron that he happened to keep in his tower, and may or may not possess kylo. either way, rey & her diverse friends basically spend the movie chasing kylo to the death star as they find clues scattered throughout the galaxy. eventually it ends with a time travel asspull, that warps both sheev and rey back to the past (after a series of cameos by past sw characters). sheev merges with his former self and now knows the future and how to take over the galaxy. rey loses her memory and ability to use the force, or just forgets about it and gets stuck on tatooine and sold into slavery. her true name is revealed: shmi. part of her still remembers and she subconsciously gives her last name as skywalker. roll credits.
