Is it worth it? I'm about to buy almost the complete collection second-hand. I know that it was common to trash on the Vongs and all, so what did you think of it? I know some of the characters through the comic "sequel" with Cade Skywalker that I loved.

How can we tell you if it's worth it if you won't tell us how much they are

It's variable, some are over 10 (rarer or better?) and some others (majority) are like 4 or 5. But is it readable?

Yeah it's readable mate but if I'm honest it's not worth buying them all individually
>Ebooks are the way
<Ask for a dump and you shall receive.
Only buy them if you want the physical book for the books sake.
You're better off buying a cheap ereader for £20 and downloading the whole EU, or just putting the ebooks on a phone/tablet. I can't recommend an ereader enough though.

On the whole, it's pretty good. Vector Prime starts out treating the Vong like some kind of bad joke, like a bad, edgy cartoon villain race that just revels in pain, but it's made up for by a compelling narrative of the last days of an outpost on the edge of the galaxy. Dark Tide does a lot to shape them into a more well-rounded and legitimately intimidating force, then after that they just continue to grow. There are a few dull books in the series, not ones that I'd call bad, just uneventful, but every time you get through one, you'll probably find there'll be an absolutely fantastic one right after.
As far as buying it goes, that's purely a matter of what you'd prefer to have; a collection of books or an e-reader. It's not like you have any obligation to buy new copies and give Disney a share.

Agreed. I've made a point of purchasing used copies of old Star Wars books. I don't want the Mouse getting anything.

There are still plenty of good deals to be had on used books out there. I found thing like I, Jedi in hardcover for pennies plus shipping on Amazon. The condition can be kind of wild though, like my copy of Allegiances came without a jacket, while Choices of One, shipped from and to the UK, had an extra plastic cover semi-permanently wrapped around it and a stamp from a library in Texas marked its side.

Dumped most of them. Ignoring Pre-Republic and other Old Republic books due to 50GB limit. Cannot be arsed to create another mega account for the rest. Only worthwhile thing missing is Bane trilogy.
