We're losing too many good people lately. It feels bad that so many people are focusing on the fact that Peter Mayhew isn't going to be a part of the hostile takeover of the community now that he's gone, but it's difficult not to agree on some level. I remember feeling that the worst thing about Chewie dying in the EU was that he gave his life to save Anakin Solo, who subsequently died and therefore rendered his sacrifice meaningless. And now Disney and their shitfest of character assassination came along and somehow made that look good by comparison. Feels bad man. Still, the main thing about this is his family and friends' bereavement, which is more important than how any of us feel about it. Respect to him and condolences to everyone affected by his passing.
