>Millennium Falcon uses Nirama, a crime lord from the Living Force RPGA campaign only a few thousand people played, as a minor part of the Falcon's history
>a Wizard's of the Coast article makes Havet Storm, from obscure ass British only choose your own adventure books, the student Desann killed
>the author said he did this because it freed Havet from ambiguous canon status
I love this kind of thing. Any others?

This is a personal turn on for me in seeing little things show up here and there. Almost every piece of media worked as standalone unless it was part of a specific saga, but seeing tiny details like this was always a joy. Luceno tended to do it a lot which I greatly appreciated. He even included some aliens from that old "design an alien" contest from the 90s in the Millennium Falcon book. And the Tarkin novel (before it got taken by Disney) featured a shit ton of cameos and references, including stuff that proved Genndy Wars was no longer apocryphal, like some Clone Wars tidbits, war trophies and Mon Calamari Knights (and the knights were retconned in Filoni Wars).

I remember some campaign book or something retroactively put Sariss from Jedi Knight into ANH because, somewhere in Mos Eisley, there was an extra who sort of looked like her.

>Desann kills a guy who stole the Death Star plans in one story
>gets killed by another guy who stole them in another story
That's a nice touch.
