>Luke is sent to middle of nowhere
<Leia is adopted by literal kings
>Luke is unaware he is being spied on by his father's nemesis, who makes sure he is not initiated in the force at a young age
<Leia is taught to conspire against her father and destabilize the galaxy with acts of treason
>Luke fights for friends and family
<Leia sends men to die after some obscure ideal
>Luke ends up a wounded soldier carrying the weight of the world
<Leia is just starting off her career as democratic empress of the galaxy
And you can't trust the Jedi when they say she's the daughter. For all we know, the alderaan monarchy just infiltrated the Skywalker family line with a pretender.

I do trust the Noghri though, they confirmed that.

What never made sense to me is… how Vader and Palpatine never felt her force sensitivity. She isn't that behind of Luke and people like Palpatine and Vader can smell the Force at astronomical distances. Luke was in the middle of nowhere, with Vader actively avoiding Tatooinee, Leia was in the Imperial Senate, was in Vader/Palpatine presence many times.

Then you're right. She and her scissoring buddy Holdo (its implied Holdo has the hots for her) have been together for longer than she was with Han apparently and she trusts that retarded bitch. Leia's actions have only caused more trouble. So yes. Disney turned a once beloved heroine into a fucking evil turbo dyke.

It wouldn't be above the Jedi to use Luke to get Vader back, and then manipulate them through fake daughter Leia.

In the films she just has "feelings" is that not the case? Ignoring that new film in which she flies through space and all. Perhaps only strongly force sensitive people are detectable in that way. Since being force sensitive just makes you a little "brighter" (or "smellier" in your interpretation), which is why Yoda went to hang out on Dagobah which was so bright (or smelly) they wouldn't be able to tell the difference from background force noise. In this way, Yoda was a beacon and had to hide in a sun, Leia was a lightning bug and could just hang out anywhere there was any light at all. Maybe it's also got something to do with training lighting off your potential.

it's almost like Luke and Leia are intended to be complementary opposites.
